What we do... and why

Technology is changing the world at an amazing rate. As software becomes more and more intelligent, it is finally enabling us to think beyond the machine. Suddenly, in a fluid and intuitive way, we can build meaningful bonds around common interests with people all across the globe.

The people that make this amazing stuff happen are focussed people. Focussed. Most days are power-up on caffeine - then heads down & hammer it out. Maybe come up for an afternoon snack and a quick check of Slashdot while running a build or pushing out an image.

That's where we come in. I.T. people get that you have to abstract the functional details behind a well-defined interface. At IMIT, our slogan says, "we build authentic connections around meaningful work," but we have a few true geeks on staff (and dozens of wishfuls) - so we know that idea may require a little translation.

Here it is: we're an honest, personable, easy-to-deal with "black box" that cares about you and is 100% focussed on finding you exactly the gig - or the geek - that you need to build a more reliable infrastructure and/or code us all a better world.
