SUMMARY
Our Public Sector client has a critical need for project management resources to plan for the transition and training required for a high priority initiative in Ontario.  While working with a diverse team, the Project Manager(s) will create and implement a large-scale training strategy involving a variety of stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Creating and/or implementing the multi-jurisdictional/partner training strategy
– Managing and coordinating a large-scale training initiative
– Creating necessary project status updates regarding scope, financials, issues and risk documents, and project change requests
– Coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
– Ensuring Logistics and planning for training sessions – Ensuring resources identified to complete the project are assigned and meeting their deliverables
– Executing project communications utilizing governance
– Submitting all documentation in the client’s identified repositories
– Utilization of the client’s project management methods, tools, documentation and procedures
– Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
– Assisting in the development of project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and logistical feasibility
– Ensuring resource availability and allocation
– Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
– Performing issue and risk management to minimize project impacts
– Maintaining comprehensive project documentation
– Preparing various executive project status documentation as well as establishing and managing project governance as appropriately defined by the client

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
– Project management experience at the Senior-Level
– Proven experience in creating and implementing a large-scale training strategy
– Demonstrated leadership experience managing large-scale, complex projects – including implementation activities and recognizing, assessing and managing project risk
– Stakeholder management – demonstrated experience managing and coordinating a large-scale training project with multiple stakeholders that have varying needs, requirements and restrictions i.e. professional law enforcement clients
– Proven ability to steer, lead and guide the professional development of multidimensional lesson plans for adult learners with diverse program expectations and learning needs
– Experience in the use of project management software
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
– A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
– Must have solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
– Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of technology is a plus
– PMP certification, or equivalent experience is preferred
