Our multinational electricity and gas utility client is hiring a Electrical Engineer III, a hybrid opportunity in Syracuse, NY. The duration of the role is 12 months.

Responsibilities –

Revenue Metering for Transmission Interconnection Projects a. Initial review of the work & specifying the delivered by date (deliverables) b. Specifying electric meter(s) and sizing of instrument transformers. i. Familiarity with Revenue Meters (Accuracy Classes, Forms, Load Classes,) ii. Understanding Instrument Transformers theory (Accuracy Classes, Rating Factors, Types/Styles of ITs, Sizing,) c. Overseeing the metering point design at Point of Interconnection (POI), and communication with the Project Team till completion of the work. d. Contribute to Facility Study Engineering Reports (FSER), Scope Documents, Functional Specifications as necessary i. Perform quality control checks with peers ii. Perform design drawing reviews iii. Attend necessary project team meetings


  • Bachelors Degree in E.E. – required
  • 5+ Years of Experience – required
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License – recommended
  • Demonstrate good working knowledge of industry standards, safety standards, and existing electrical design codes
  • Must possess basic understanding of revenue metering systems and design concepts

This will be a hybrid role. Some on-site work will be required with occasional travel to other sites.
