Our client, one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada, has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Reporting & Analytics. This is a contract position for one (1) year located in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Description

Currently, Supply Chain stores their data in SAP BW which limits the teams from being able to visualize the data in reporting dashboards. The team is moving to Tableau to be able to use reporting dashboards to present, visualize and derive data insights for various stakeholders. This candidate will meet with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, provide guidance to the team on how best to develop Tableau dashboards including how the data architecture should be organized to make this work efficiently. 

Accountabilities

  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements on developing dashboards and reports
  • Develop complex dashboards in Tableau to present, visualize and derive insights from data for stakeholders
  • Provide technical advice and solutions on managing data architecture
  • Analyze dashboards and reports to provide summarize key findings for management
  • Support analytic and reporting operations to update dashboards on a periodic basis and make any maintenance updates
  • Translate business insights into strategic, actionable options by obtaining and organizing key business information, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate decision-making across diverse groups of stakeholders by using excellent skills in communication, critical thinking, and persuasive influencing to deliver recommendations that align to the business goals.
  • Maintain meaningful business relationships by prioritizing strategic considerations in a complex environment with diverse groups of stakeholders so that projects are implemented as planned.
  • Plan and organize business initiatives by using expert knowledge in business drivers, risk tolerance, and trade-off processes, to enable successful integration and adoption in complex and regulated environment.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • (11) years of directly related work experience or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Tableau dashboard/report development 
  • Experience working with SAP and Business Warehouse data sets for data prep and mashups 
  • Must have excellent report development experience
  • Experience working with Supply Chain and Contract Management Data is an asset 
  • Must have advanced excel skills 
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Familiar with ERP systems and data – SAP/BW
  • Experience working with SAP and Business Warehouse data sets for data prep and mashups
  • Experience developing visual analytics reports and dashboards in Tableau
  • Experience working with Supply Chain and Contract Management Data
  • Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills

Additional Information

  • The resource can work from home to start but will be required to work onsite at least 2/3 days per week once covid worksite restrictions are lifted.
