What are the main responsibilities of the role?
The main responsibility of the role is collaborating with other designers on the team as well as Product and Technology in order to shape exceptional digital self-serve features for our clients.

The ability and openness to collaborate with designers as well as our partners in product and technology. We work in an Agile framework where speed and efficiency are key to our success. The ability to communicate rationale for design decisions and exhibit the flexibility to understand business and development constraints and how these might affect the designs.
Looking for a flexible designer (i.e. Strong Visual + Skills in Interaction) with a product mindset. Collaborative, humble, open, critical thinkers, curious, data-driven.

Figma will be used the majority of the time, we also use Mural, Keynote, Confluence and Jira.
Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to collaborate with other designers and cross-functional team members, ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships. Experience in facilitating workshops is a nice to have.

Due to Covid all team members are working from. Once Covid subsides this will be re-evaluated as previously everyone was at the office at 1 Place Ville-Marie.
For our Toronto roles, all candidates must live in Ontario and within commuting distance for our Toronto office.
For our Montreal roles, all candidates must live in Quebec within commuting distance for our Montreal office.
All candidates must be willing to commute to the office regularly once Covid subsides and it is safe to do so.

Interview Process and Timelines:

What is the interview time frame?
The CWM supplier is expected to screen candidates using the questions and scorecard provided.
The first interview will be a video call over webex for an hour with the hiring manager and 1-2 other people on the team. It will be conversational based where the candidate will present their portfolio and be asked a few questions.
There may be a second interview, again a video call over webex for 1 hours where the candidate will do a design activity or just have a conversation about their skillset and experience with 2 team members. This will give the candidate the opportunity to learn what it would be like as a member of our design team.
