Our healthcare client is seeking a Security Consultant on a 3 month assignment to start, working out of their Mississauga, ON location.  This position offers a competitive hourly rate and strong possibility of extension past the initial term.

Duties

  • Security issue identification and mitigation: Must quickly obtain an understanding of the Client's business and proactively identify Security concerns/risks from a systems Application Development perspective, PII/PHI business processes perspective and with processes that deal with confidential information
  • New security technologies: Keep current on Security technologies and industry risks/threats, provide feedback and advice on risks and controls, as appropriate, recommending process improvements that reflect best practices
  • Incident management: Provide incident management services for any security related issues/breaches
  • Logging and monitoring: Daily review of Data Loss Prevention content and escalation to appropriate levels of Management
  • Security involvement in projects: Represent Security best practices in Agile development processes for the future delivery of systems solutions
  • Provide feedback and advice on risks and controls, as appropriate, recommending process improvements that reflect best practices
  • Ensure the establishment of effective internal controls over technology reporting within assigned groups by identifying, documenting, and assessing risks and their mitigating controls
  • Manage security exceptions/approvals as required

Qualifications

  • Experience developing, implementing and enforcing security controls
  • Exposure to and understanding of Privacy and Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity and risk assessment
  • Ability to identify and apply new security and audit controls
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-direction, negotiation, conflict resolution, analytical and problem solving skills

MS Access IntermediateProgrammer/Developer

Our public client has an immediate need for an Intermediate MS Access Programmer/Developer for a 2 month contract in Toronto, ON. This short-term assignment will assist with the design, build and implementation of an MS Access database and the processes required by our client to manage the application and produce reports on a day to day basis. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programmer/Developer will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and maintain a plan to address contract deliverables, through the identification of significant milestones and expected results; with weekly status reporting.

Data Analyst – Supply Chain

We are looking for a Data Analyst for our pipeline client. The Data Analyst will be working out of their Downtown Calgary office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver standard reports, metrics and dashboards
  • Assemble, analyze and evaluate data from multiple sources (Planning, Sales Forecast, and Mfg.)
  • Use data to develop root cause analysis
  • Liaison between business and IT to articulate business needs into requirement documents

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple projects and project resources through the project management life cycle

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate customer applications for the Energy Conservation Rebate Programs
  • Specific Accountabilities
  • Super user functionality with payment systems such as SAP, Oracle and Markview and Kubra.
  • Create and validate invoice requisitions for rebate cheques (follow-up on workflow process involving Accounts Payable)
  • Manage and prioritize the Clients Smart Savings Inbox, and other generic group mailboxes (as applicable)

Scope/Dimensions

  • Validate cheque requisitions by name, address, energy-efficient measures and dollar value prior to facilitating payment. Export outstanding invoices from various sources and determine Oracle and SAP payment status / correct amount was issued.
  • Perform basic Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, and Match.
  • Point of contact for AP for follow-up and inquiries for payment issues and customer escalations.
  • Streamline and improve existing processes as it relates to the customer journey, and back-end payment facilitation.

Our client is an energy leader in British Columbia and they have an immediate need for a Senior IT Sourcing specialist to join their team for a 1 year contract position.

• The Supply Chain Professional Level 2 is accountable for delivering assigned outcomes related to the development and execution of category/project supply chain strategies, sourcing strategies and/or sourcing activities following established processes and quality requirements.

• A minimum ten (10) years of sourcing, category management or equivalent, preferably in a complex environment of a similar size to BC Hydro.

  • Experience designing responsive web application; and Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, design and implementation of application systems.
  • Designs and codes programs, including the ability to test their coding, find errors, and correct codes to provide quality coding. Interfaces with technical team to design and implement application systems.
