SUMMARY
This short-term assignment will assist with the design, build and implementation of an MS Access database and the processes required by our client to manage the application and produce reports on a day to day basis. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Design, development and implementation of an MS Access Database
– Provide input into the process design and improvement required to the current business model
– Assist the assessment activities related to applications using MS Access database to store data.
– Data segregation and reporting of the most critical issues related to departmental MS Access, Word and Excel applications
– Testing application compatibility in Windows 10 operating system environment
– Conduct preliminary functional testing with end-user before deployment
– Support resolution of issues with regards to the application operating system compatibility, and other technical coordination during testing
– Performs all duties in accordance with IT Solutions standards and procedures
– Strong understanding and hands-on experience with software development tools including MS Access 2016/2019, Office 2016/2019, Windows 2010, Excel, VBA, Macros

REQUIREMENTS
– University or college graduate in computer science or related discipline with minimum – 5+ years application development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
– At least 2 years experience providing advice, mentoring and expertise to team members
– Experience in gathering user requirements, understanding business processes and creating solutions based upon requirements
– In-depth knowledge of integrating complex applications on the desktop and across wide and local area

Indirect Buyer

The Ian Martin Group is seeking an Indirect Buyer in Irvine, CA for a long-term contract.  He/ She will represent the Client’s IFE division with external suppliers and be based within their IFE Business Line in Irvine California and be responsible for all Purchase Order creation, changes, and cancellation along with being the primary point of contact with the supplier communication for his/ hers assigned category.

Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst on behalf of one of the largest natural gas distributors in North America.  Business Analyst serves as a liaison to functional Business Leads in order to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned area project and maintenance work for Gas Transmission & Midstream Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Indirect report to the Project Manager to assist with project scope definition and provide business analysis support throughout the project lifecycle.

Our public sector client is looking for an Incident Coordinator who is results-oriented, customer service focused, and self-motivated information technology professionals with strong operational and process skills. If selected in this role, you will be responsible for coordinating an Incident Management Process 

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Incident Coordinator functions as the primary focal point for priority 1 and 2 incidents while in tandem coordinating the process execution, resource identification and Major Incident Review (MIR) activities.

Our Oil & Gas client, located in North York, is seeking a Records Management Advisor to join their growing team in North York, ON for a 12-month contract role.

This role will be focused on the sustainment and enhancement of records and information management (RIM) initiatives within our client. The primary focus is on the analysis, development and implementation of support and continuous improvement of RIM initiatives. It also includes change management and training processes for participating business units/projects and as well as the consolidation of 2 major client sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to resolve safety related issues by participating in the Safety Committee, as required.

  • Report directly to the Manager RAMS Engineering, take direction from the Project Safety Lead, Group Lead, Technical Safety Specialist and Chief Safety Architect, and work closely with other team members, both in Safety team and from other functional teams, to meet project objectives.
