CPU Security Expert

Our client; a leading global provider of Information and Communications Technology infrastructure and smart devices, is searching for talented and innovative CPU Security Expert to join their growing team.  

You will design and evaluate the security architecture of CPU for mobile platforms like smart phones and tablets. 

  • Develop the prototype of applying the advanced security feature of CPU, such as PAC, BTI, MTE, Arran…
  • Design a new security architecture or micro-architecture for mobile CPU
  • Assessing security risk and applying mitigation

Essential Skills and Experience::

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (Masters or PhD asset)
  • Proficient in C/C++ and Assembly.
  • Good knoweldge and understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture
  • Familiar with the ARM architecture and the micro-architecture of current ARM CPU cores
  • Experience in research and development on security technologies
  • Experience in working on CPU security extension(such as TrustZone and PAC) and Linux
  • Knowledge of operating system and compiler technology
  • Co-operate and communicate well with CPU design team.
  • Able to travel internationally from time to time

CPU Architect (Mobile Platforms)

Our client is a leading global provider of information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices is searching for a CPU Architect (Mobile Platforms) to architect high-performance, lower power CPU for mobile platforms like smart phones and tablets including:

·       Build CPU performance model from popular mobile applications and workloads

·       Analyze workloads and performance bottlenecks, identify requirements for CPU architecture, compiler and software algorithms

·       Work with micro-architecture and RTL team to define CPU features and make trade-offs between power, performance and area appropriately

·       Guide the development of tools and simulation environment to increase productivity of CPU performance analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Good Understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture
  • Familiar with the ARM architecture and the micro-architecture of current ARM CPU cores
  • Experience in performance model development
  • Proficient in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Perl and Python

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Experience in performance tuning on Android and Linux
  • Knowledge of operating system and compiler technology
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Travel to Beijing and Shanghai sites may be required
  • Good presentation and internal customer interaction skills

CPU Software Principal Engineer

Our client is a leading global provider of information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices is searching for a CPU Software Principal Engineer to develop software for CPU features, power management and performance optimization including:

  • Writing CPU drivers and firmware to enable CPU features
  • Developing CPU power management modules such as DVFS
  • Developing frequency governor and big-little scheduler for CPUs
  • Optimizing libraries and algorithms to take advantage of CPU features

QUALIFICATIONS

 Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Good Understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture
  • Familiar with the ARM architecture of current ARM CPU cores
  • Experience in Linux driver development
  • Proficient in C/C++ and Assembly

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Strong embedded software debugging skills
  • Experience in Android development and optimization
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Travel to Beijing and Shanghai sites may be required
