OpenText Analyst

One of our utilities clients has an immediate need for an OpenText Analyst to support the IT Operations Application Maintenance and Support team. This role will be located at their office in Regina Saskatchewan.

What you will be doing…

  • Assist with data errors, extracting data, and building interfaces to and from the system.
  • Maintain data access security for user profiles, groups, roles and object queues as well as object level, record level and field level permissions.
  • Monitor and provide reporting on system status and overall usage.
  • Provide root cause analysis of product issues and provide prompt resolution.
  • Support for SharePoint and OpenText Content Server integration.
  • Install, configure and support additional OpenText to source of truth application integrations as
  • they are solutioned.
  • Install, configure, and support additional OpenText Content Server modules and solutions as
  • they are adopted by the business.
  • Keep current on applicable technologies and methodologies and provide technical input.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying records and information management (RIM) principles.
  • Modify and maintain system configuration and participate in application system updates and
  • upgrades in order to meet the needs of business units and application lifecycle.
  • Work with Database Administrators to coordinate database updates in a manner that has
  • minimal impact on business units.
  • Provide reports for various business units.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a utility or engineering industry.
  • Experience with Engineering Document Management support an asset.
  • Experience with integration into SharePoint and/or Office 365.
  • Experience developing WebReports, LiveReports, Forms, and Workflow.

What you will need to succeed…

  • 5+ years of recent and practical experience in IT.
  • 3+ years of experience in OpenText Content Server versions 10.5 to 16.2.
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Content Management.
  • Monitor and provide reporting on system status and overall usage.

Network Analyst

One of our utilities clients has an immediate need for a Network Analyst to join their Network Infrastructure Operations team. This role will be located at their office in Regina Saskatchewan.

How you will bring value…

In this role you will work within the existing team to help with the operational administration and implementation of the various components of their LAN/WAN infrastructure. You will follow team standards based on current industry and security best practices for the configuration and implementation of network infrastructure.

What you will be doing…

  • Administration, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and documentation of the enterprise network environment.
  • Helps prepare plans for development and installation of network devices according to present and future requirements and standards.
  • Provides expert technical support, administration, and engineering on Cisco network devices.
  • Monitoring, performance tunes, troubleshooting and resolution of system problems to ensure system availability.
  • Manage and maintain network disaster recovery including planning, implementation, maintenance and testing.
  • Interacts with our user base (corporate and field employees) on an as needed basis regarding technology issues and escalations.
  • Works with network patch management processes and procedures to facilitate deployment.
  • Maintains systems integrity through change control and problem management procedures and communication with internal customers.
  • Accomplishes department objectives by working with other team members; organizing and monitoring work process.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures when carrying out position responsibilities.
  • Attends and participates in team meetings.
  • Works with the Enterprise and Solution Architecture team and other business leads to establish scalable network solutions.
  • Act as a representative of Information Systems.

What you will need to succeed…

  • A minimum of 5 years of recent and practical network administration experience, and a minimum of 3 years in a senior network analyst role.
  • Proven proficiency in working with Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN Controllers and WAPs.
  • Proven proficiency working with Cisco CLI for IOS, ASA, IOS-XE and NX-0S.
  • Proven proficiency working with Cisco Remote Access and L2L VPN Technologies.
  • Proven proficiency working with Cisco Prime Infrastructure Version 3 or higher.
  • Proven proficiency working with Border Gateway Protocol.
  • Proven proficiency working with Microsoft Azure – IaaS.
  • Proven proficiency with network security best practices.
  • Experience implementing network technologies to support organizational technology projects.
  • Experience in influencing and establishing collaboration direction within an organization.
  • Understanding of enterprise level network.
  • Understanding of integrations of an on-premise environment and cloud environments.
  • North American job experience.

Solution Architect

Our client in Regina, SK is looking for a JDEdwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) Solution Architect for a 1 year contract.

The Solutions & Architecture team provides architecture and information management services, focused on business, information, integration, security, and technology domains. This group delivers IT technology and service planning, business capability development and road mapping, as well as delivering high quality and effective solutioning services to the PDO as well as directly to the business.
An emerging focus for the Solutions & Architecture group is establishing and delivering an Information Management (IM) program including governance, content management, metadata management, and master data management practices. This extends to service delivery for IM products and tools as well as collaboration and content management services for the business.

Deliverables include:

  • JDEdwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) solution experience – Especially in the areas of Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, as well as in the areas of Financial Management and Human Capital Management
  • Any solutions associated with Asset Management, Asset Performance Management and Asset Related Analytics solutions in the natural gas, pipeline or similar industry
  • Customer Services (Oracle Customer Care & Billing for Distribution Customers; and any Transmission CIS solutions)
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management solutions (such as Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle CRM)
  • Regulatory Compliance solutions in the Pipeline industry
  • Environment Health and Safety solutions

Qualifications:

  • The resource will have a minimum 10 years of recent and practical IT experience, including several years working as part of an architecture team, and have a broad and solid understanding of architecture principles, solutions design, and IT trends. Ideally the resource will have:
  • Experience leading solution selection, design and implementation as part of a project team.
  • Experience as a solution architect on 3 or more projects from selection to implementation.
  • Practical experience communicating technical concepts to the business and project teams.
  • Experience working closely with business to solve technical and process problems.
  • Experience working in a utility or engineering industry.
  • TOGAF Certification.
  • North American job experience.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Certifications within the six (6) competency streams listed above
