We are looking for a Financial Analyst II to support the team.

Duration: 12 months

Location: Akron, Ohio, United States

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in related activities to the job description;
  • Business and financial acumen including the ability interpret and understand various financial reporting;
  • Construction industry related experience preferred;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project);
  • Strong project management skills are required with a demonstrated ability to develop, manage and control multiple tasks;
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, etc., with related Scheduling/Resource Planning expertise is a plus;

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Lead all aspects of the Capital and O&M budgeting and forecasting processes and systems;
  • Interface between budget and reporting tools to support management tracking, reporting and decision-making (Qlikview, FPA Data Base, PowerPlant, UI Planner, SAP, etc.);
  • Consult throughout the Department on the facility planning database (ie. project status tracking, project prioritization, paybacks, and cash flow projections); oversee management of various Department records;
  • Create, maintain and close-out WBS numbers for proposed/approved projects;
  • Communicate throughout the organization financial status for all project and O&M activity, including annual, quarterly and future years forecast preparation, loading and other support;
  • Establish all Capital and O&M labor budgets;
  • Support Planning & Projects staff with financial tracking for all turnkey project engagements;
  • Financial reporting for Administrative Services includes, but not limited to: cost owner determination, settled and mid-month variance explanations; budget and reporting of actuals and variances; coordinate budget and forecast submittal to Short-Term Budget & Forecast group; month end and year end accrual reporting;
  • Prepare all Board and FPR reporting;
  • Perform multiple scenario analysis and reviews;
  • Support and develop Executive Leadership Budget presentations;
  • Communicate corporate guidelines, budget direction, schedules and expectations;
  • Provided definitions of legal entities and settlement rules;
  • Provide P-card administration for the group as needed;
  • Provide responses to requests for financial information (audits, SOX control inquiries, etc.);
  • Develop management reporting and presentations for the Administrative Services department;
  • Support Mail Services and Food Services business analytics and projects;
  • Perform project analytics and planning on behalf of the Administrative Services Department;
  • Identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives throughout the Administrative Services Department;
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams including, but not limited to Real Estate, IT, Corporate Security, Mail Services and Facility Operations;
  • Coordinate schedule of third-party consultant assessments and maintain database to support Planning & Projects budgeting and tracking;
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Ability to work outside regular business hours, as required;
