Accounting Clerk
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2-3 days in office a week)
Contract Length: 2 Months

Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of service by:
- Manage the off-site records management filing system, via Iron Mountain, for active and closed client account files
- Maintain the approved tracking system to account for all client files at all time
- Acts as the major liaison person between Real Estate, Distribution and Iron Mountain for client record management
- Contribute to the Will Bank records retention project
- Manage the cash receival/deposit process
- Manage the Re-Org and Tax notification process
- Prepare all branch payments for internal and external clients
- Manage staff telephone bills payment process
- Preparing letters for notarizations and organizing the notarization process for the teams
- Manage the branch stationery supply chain process to ensure ST letterheads, envelope and pre-paid envelopes are in stock
- Manage the Automatic Fund Transfer process
- Manage the branch access system by requesting staff access cards, business cards etc
- Monitors the BST Email Account ensuring all request are actioned and teams are updated with information provided
Provide administrative support to team by:
- Assisting with the daily recording and distribution of incoming mail.
- Assist in managing the daily deposits
- Assisting with the request for appraisals of properties under administration
- Assisting with the request for insurance of properties under administration
- Assist in providing timely response to the teams for property related matters
- Monitor the Branch incoming voicemail by ensuring messages are passed on to the teams in order to provide timely responses to customers
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Must Have Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk
- Experienced with daily Cash Deposits
- Prior record management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems; Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in an FI
- Prior Vendor Management experience.
