Membrane Team Technician

We are looking for an Membrane Team Technician on behalf of our client in Norfolk, VA a leader in waste/water treatment and chemicals.

Contract Duration: One Year

  • Maintains and performs preventative maintenance programs and calibration on equipment or instrumentation used during quality control procedures. 
  • Delivers external customer satisfaction through on time preparation; through continuous improvement initiatives and value added projects that will insure quality of equipment completed while considering cycle times
  • Maintains records as directed by immediate supervisor to include ISO documentation requirements
  • Practices good safety procedures to keep self and others injury free
  • Provides excellent housekeeping practices in RO maintenance area and tool storage area to include timely cleanup of work area after each task is completed
  • Coordinates with Materials Control to insure proper inventory and ordering replacement items to minimize downtime unites
  • Maintains related specialized equipment, Field technician, and safety kits for shipments to customer location

Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to perform confined space tank entry in through a 14×18 inch manway in small tanks
  • Must be forklift certified in 90 days of employments
  • Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, and manual dexterity
  • Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities and power industry facilities.
  • Ability and willingness to read documents and implement such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Chemical injection/Chemical Pumps expérience
  • Hand and Power tool experience
  • 480v 3 phase electrical experience
  • Strong sense of urgency

Service Tech/Dispatch

We are looking for a Service Tech/Dispatch on behalf of our client in San Diego, CA a leader in waste/water treatment and chemicals.

Individual to perform tasks in the office as they relate to Dispatch (50% of work duties) and Service Technician (50% of work duties).

Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract

Dispatch roles/responsibility:

  • Assisting the Service Technicians with obtaining the route information
  • Obtaining and filing the paperwork from the Service Technicians
  • Running reports and data entry (MS Excel)

Service Technical Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and set-up of ION water bottles at customer locations
  • Driving company vehicle (standard truck modified for deliveries) within a 100-mile radius of work location.
  • Will use hand cart to load and unload/deliver bottles
  • Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical repair and installation

Requirements:

  • Must have a clean DMV record
  • Must be able to lift to 75lbs unassisted, and up to 200lbs with assistance
  • The ability to use a hand truck and pallet jacks to move heavier loads
  • Must have basic mechanics tools, i.e. channel locks, screwdrivers, etc…
  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1-year work experience demonstrated Customer Service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Proficient keyboarding skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-year degree
  • College coursework Chemistry eight hours preferred.
  • 1-year work experience in Dispatch for a Service Industry desirable.
  • 1-year work experience with multi-line telephone and two-way radio communications desirable.

We are looking for a Fabrication Team Technician on behalf of our client in Norfolk, VA a leader in waste/water treatment and chemicals.

Responsible for assisting in the fabrication of various components and/or whole parts to support the production and manufacturing of specialized water treatment equipment and associated systems. This position requires forklift operation, scissor lifts, drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, and ironworkers. Assists in fabricating and manufacturing various components of specialized equipment used in industrial water treatment applications

Description:

  • Proper and safe use of drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, ironworkers, and other specialized equipment to fabricate parts and water treatment systems.
  • Pipe-fit various materials such as PVC, CPVC, fiberglass, and stainless steel.
  • Practice good safety procedures to keep self and others injury-free.
  • Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping fabrication and tool storage areas neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of the work area after each job is completed.
  • Perform confined space entry in small tanks with 14×18″ manways.
  • Travel for field repair and install it if needed.
  • Maintain records and reports as required.

Field Service Representative

On behalf of our client, a leader in waste water treatment, we are looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR) who will be responsible for providing our on-site technical customer service. This customer facing position will include chemistry test, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance including mechanical and electrical equipment repair, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports.

 

Duties Include:

Install and service chemical feed and water treatment and chemical feed equipment at designated locations

• Perform water analysis and/or collect samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis

• Work with PLC controls, understands water process treatment design, and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels

• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibrates feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets

• Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis

• Travel and work overtime, as required

• Follow all site specific safety requirements, procedures, regulations, restrictions, etc.

• This position requires enrollment in the DISA background check and random drug screening program.

Requirements:

-High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment

-Working experience in Water Treatment / lab testing is strongly recommended

-Ability to travel extensively

-Valid Driver’s License

Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client, a leader in waste/water treatment and chemicals. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, they will complete design documents in concert with Process, Mechanical and Instrumentation and Controls engineers, as well as various project support functions (Document Control, Sourcing, Finance, etc).

 

Duties Include:

  • Generating, checking or approving Process & Instrument Diagrams, single line diagrams, I/O lists, loop (termination) diagrams, control logic diagrams, power distribution designs, control system architecture (PLC/DCS) and general design specifications.
  • Control panel design; including, but not limited to, panel layout, termination drawings, and compiling a bill of materials
  • Support vendor selection and equipment procurement, managing vendor documents and ensuring our suppliers are on track and performing.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of local and national electrical codes and requirements.
  • Maintain project schedule and document reporting for the Lead Engineer.
  • Act as a technical customer contact, participating in project status updates, design reviews, installation support and commissioning supervision.
  • The role requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally 10-25% of the time 

 

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering field – Electrical or Controls preferred       
  • Two to five years’ electrical engineering experience 
  • Strong engineering foundation and is skilled at working across teams, communicating complex ideas and integrating systems
  • Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution system design
  • Clear, concise communication skills and a Strict attention to detail

Rework Engineering Technician

This position is a 6-month contract with a competitive wage.

You’ll work closely with the yield and defect engineers to characterize new assembly and substrate technologies. You’ll also figure out the root cause of any electrical or visual mechanical defects you come across.

Specifically, you will:

·        Perform technical functions that support engineering activities (characterization of substrate, die and related assembly technologies)

·        Conduct engineering tests for data collection and research

·        Share what you find verbally and via reports to yield engineers and LYA analysts

·        Conduct analysis with the following techniques

o   Cross section: mechanical X-section, ion mill

o   Microscopy: SEM/EDX, X-ray, FIB, AFM and CSAM

The Details

This is a 6-month contract working out of our laboratory in Chandler, AZ. Wage will be between $25 and $26 per hour. You’ll work Sunday to Thursday, 12pm to 8pm.

 

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

·        A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, or a related field

·        3+ years’ experience working in a lab environment

·        Experience with analysis techniques (X-section, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray and Optical Inspection, Ion Milling, FIB)

·        Knowledge of basic statistical analysis tools such as JMP

·        Strong communication skills to communicate with engineers and technicians
