What you will be doing:

  • Applying the Company’s vision and business strategies to potential sales channels and developing new growth opportunities.
  • Acquire knowledge and technical expertise to understand the design of compressor systems for industrial and commercial customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints & construction drawings
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales Representatives to support sales activities and customer follow-up.
  • Prepare proposals for customers to include quotations, product literature and work with manufacturer to provide system design details, and performance specifications. 
  • Tailor proposals to the business and application needs of the customer
  • Participate and attend different marketing activities (seminars, trade shows, events, etc.) Following up with leads associated with these marketing activities
  • Establish sales strategies and reviewing sales pipeline opportunities with the Sales Manager
  • Monitor and report competitive activities for market/territory development
  • Provide input to the annual budget and monthly sales meetings based on fact based territory knowledge of sales highlights, lesson’s learned, challenges and growth opportunities
  • Understanding of market verticals, product categories, market segmentation of customer’s product needs, along with executing the territory business plan

Experience Required:

  • Air Compressor knowledge and  3-5 years of sales experience is required
  • Experience in the development of solution sales strategy by analyzing the client needs to support the business objectives for existing and new customers
  • Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills 
  • Strong analytical skills to problem solve, assess solution sales opportunities. 
  • Recommend and implement tactical sales strategies and marketing plans
  • Identifying new markets through prospecting
  • Develop customer sales forecast and annual budget

Education requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Technical Diploma or Certification
  • Sales experience with variable frequency drives would be an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Job Description:

  • Create web maps and provide documentation for end-users of web mapping applications, Esri mobile applications (Collector, Explorer, and Survey123), ArcMap, and ArcGIS Pro
  • Automates processes using Model Builder and/or FME.
  • Create and manage GIS content in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Perform geospatial analysis (site selection, vegetation analytics, remote sensing) using vector, raster, and point cloud data.
  • Interface with users in various job functions to determine requirements and satisfy needs with custom GIS applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in GIS, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology or related technical field required.
  • Five or more years of GIS experience is required. Three years of experience with Esri based products is required.
  • A graduate degree (masters or doctoral degrees) in GIS or other closely related discipline (e.g. IT-related, Engineering, Geography, Forestry, Environmental Science) may be considered in lieu of two or four years of related experience respectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high incidence of changing requirements, analyze and clarify ambiguous requests/instructions, meet aggressive deadlines, and manage large workloads required.
  • Experience with Python and FME preferred. Familiarity with enterprise architecture and infrastructure preferred.

Our client in Regina, SK is looking for a JDEdwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) Solution Architect for a 1 year contract.

The Solutions & Architecture team provides architecture and information management services, focused on business, information, integration, security, and technology domains. This group delivers IT technology and service planning, business capability development and road mapping, as well as delivering high quality and effective solutioning services to the PDO as well as directly to the business.
An emerging focus for the Solutions & Architecture group is establishing and delivering an Information Management (IM) program including governance, content management, metadata management, and master data management practices. This extends to service delivery for IM products and tools as well as collaboration and content management services for the business.

Deliverables include:

  • JDEdwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) solution experience – Especially in the areas of Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, as well as in the areas of Financial Management and Human Capital Management
  • Any solutions associated with Asset Management, Asset Performance Management and Asset Related Analytics solutions in the natural gas, pipeline or similar industry
  • Customer Services (Oracle Customer Care & Billing for Distribution Customers; and any Transmission CIS solutions)
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management solutions (such as Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle CRM)
  • Regulatory Compliance solutions in the Pipeline industry
  • Environment Health and Safety solutions

Qualifications:

  • The resource will have a minimum 10 years of recent and practical IT experience, including several years working as part of an architecture team, and have a broad and solid understanding of architecture principles, solutions design, and IT trends. Ideally the resource will have:
  • Experience leading solution selection, design and implementation as part of a project team.
  • Experience as a solution architect on 3 or more projects from selection to implementation.
  • Practical experience communicating technical concepts to the business and project teams.
  • Experience working closely with business to solve technical and process problems.
  • Experience working in a utility or engineering industry.
  • TOGAF Certification.
  • North American job experience.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
