We are looking for a Material Scientist consultant on behalf of one of the largest Healthcare company in Marlborough, MA.  Client is currently hiring a Material Scientist to join Upstream Bioprocess R&D team located in Marlborough, MA.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will possess knowledge of the physical and chemical behavior of a wide range of polymeric materials and processing techniques. This role will serve as an expert in polymer and materials sciences in a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, performing and developing material characterization methods, determining structure-property relationships, The successful candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with a wide range of characterization tools and understand how the processing of materials can ultimately impact product performance. This position will work in a cross-functional environment and must be able to convey technical information to personnel from Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Marketing organizations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides materials characterization support by using techniques such as:
  • Mechanical (Instron, etc.), Chromatography, Microscopy, FTIR, DSC, TGA, Contact Angle
  • Develop characterization test methods for transfer to Quality Control Contribute to preparation of standard operating procedures for analytical assays and instrumentation operation. Support root cause analysis of a wide variety of material and product failures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Material Science or related field.
  • 2+ years’ work experience in an analytical laboratory or R&D environment.
  • A strong theoretical and practical knowledge of polymer characterization and processing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience performing routine sample analysis, method qualification, and validation. Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.

Lab Technician

We are looking for a Lab technician on behalf of one of the largest Healthcare company in Marlborough, MA.  The Lab Technician must be able to work with a team of technical resources to carry out test requests in the area of electrical and high-power components and the candidate will be performing specific tests that requires the interpretation and understanding of the different standards.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Perform all technical functions relevant to the preparation and testing as specified by global test requests
  • Prepare test equipment for carrying out specific electrical tests (Calibration, dielectric, etc.)
  • Perform basic calculations/recording and tabulations of technical data and record them accordingly
  • Maintain applicable records: enter maintenance requests, qualification records, and writing of laboratory reports as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling proprietary test data, formulations and data on patentable or other confidential items under development
  • Perform routine environmental tests (Rain tests, temperature, humidity, etc.)
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and working area. Perform minor equipment calibration and repairs as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a strong knowledge of electricity principals.
  • Associate Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 3-4 years of related experience Must have basic knowledge in the operation of electrical and electromechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of UL, CSA, and IEC testing standards are also desired.

Key Accountabilities

  • Must be a problem-solver with strong automation fundamentals that can quickly adapt to our fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Strong Object-oriented programming skills in Java/C#.
  • Must have browser automation experience (Selenium WebDriver)
  • Working experience on Testing Framework (TestNG, SerenityBDD, JUnit, Cucumber).

  • Delivering improvements to customer focused metrics.
  • Providing guidance and requirements to new vendors in order to improve quality of parts.
  • Work with vendors to verify that the parts manufactured meet the requirements as defined and follow MRB processes when they do not.
  • Validating product reliability, performance, and manufacturability.

Basic Qualifications:

UI Developer

We are looking for an UI Developer on behalf of one of the largest Healthcare Company in Issaquah, WA. The role is responsible for developing front end applications that ensure a performant and delightful experience for biological researchers using advanced analytics of images and manipulating visual modeling of the data. Ian Martin est à la recherche d'un ingénieur intéressé par le développement de simulateurs médicaux. Gameplay programmer in medical simulation

Ian MArtin is looking for an engineer interested in the development of medical simulators. Within the R&D team, under the direction of the technical lead and in close collaboration with the "craft" team and 3D artists, his role is to build educational applications for our virtual reality platforms CathLabVR, EndoVR and LapVR. The candidate will be responsible for identifying content needs, building the simulation scene, implementing behaviors and metrics as well as making the necessary adjustments in order to deliver highly realistic products, well calibrated and conforming to specifications. He must be genuinely interested in the medical world, communicate easily, enjoy teamwork and be open-minded.

2. Main functions

Appropriate a medical procedure from its conception to its delivery, respecting deadlines, quality and budget:

– Set up the simulation scene.

– Follow up with 3D artists to ensure the quality of resources.

– Programming of scene logic and metrics in LUA.
