Nous recherchons plusieurs Ajusteurs dAssembleurs pour rejoindre notre équipe pour un contrat de quatre mois. Nous créons des outils éducatifs pour le domaine de la santé et avons besoin d’un soutien supplémentaire en raison de la demande croissante.

Responsabilités:

  • Vous devrez assembler les pièces ou les assemblages selon le dessin tout en respectant les normes de santé et de sécurité au travail
  • Gardez un espace de travail propre et rangé
  • Résoudre les problèmes à mesure qu’ils surviennent

Exigences:

  • Candidats devront être disponible pour traveiller de soir, de nuit et de week-end pour la durée du mandate. Nous ne voulons pas gérer des changements de shift enc ours de mandate. Assembly Adjuster

We are seeking multiple assembly adjusters to join our team for a four month contract. We create educational tools for the healthcare field and are in need of additional support due to increased demands.    

Responsibilities:

  • You will be expected to assemble the parts or assemblies according to the drawing while respecting occupational health and safety standards
  • Keep a clean and tidy workspace
  • Solve problems as they arise

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be available to work evening, night and weekend shift for the term of the mandate. We will attempt to place candidates according to their preference (for the first hire) but cannot guarantee anything as we have hired.
  • Unilingual francophone or bilingual candidates (several instructions in French)
  • Candidates will be approved and hired according to CN (no interviews)

R&D Lab Technician

What will you do?

•        Participate in the design and organization of experiments in conjunction with the Tech Lead and or R&D Team members. Serve as a resource to R&D Team.

•        Perform hands-on tests of new products in development. Prepare samples and execute tests, collaborating with colleagues as necessary to gain access and training. Record test data in accordance with GLP.

•        In addition to executing existing tests, you will also be expected to propose, design, improve, develop and/or implement new tests procedures for evaluating new product’s specifications within the verification and validation activities framework.

•        Contribute to the generation of work instructions, tests protocols, and reports.

•        Follow departmental work instructions, SOP’s, OSHA safety regulations and cGMPs & cGLPs to perform assigned tasks.

•        Monitor and oversee lab supply inventory, generate expense purchase requisitions, if applicable, and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures.

•        Interface with internal groups to assure laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration and documents conform with established practices.

Knowledge, Skill or Ability:

•        Deep knowledge in medical device disposables (Class II), with relevant experience in developing tests methods, writing test protocols, and verifying product design specifications of new products.

•        Backgrounds in manufacturing process development related to medical device, disposables an asset (IQ, OQ, PQ, Process FMEA)

•        Basic knowledge of mechanical design of fixtures (CAD Design – SolidWorks)

•        Familiarity with the mechanical testing of plastic parts and sub-assemblies (e.g. tensile/shear/compression test, hardness measurement, pressure decay measurement, burst test) and product reliability tests (e.g. any tear/wear/aging test)

•        Ability to work under cGMP/cGLP guidelines

•        Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are required.

•        Demonstrate strong ethical behavior

•        Detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

•        Possess good computer skills (Microsoft Office is required. Word, Excel)

EHS Specialist

This position is responsible for conducting Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities, under the direction and supervision of the site EHS leader. The primary focus is to conduct site-wide and department area EHS inspections including for hazardous waste storage areas, support site emergency response activities, conduct & follow up on employee injury & other incident investigations, maintain EHS recordkeeping systems, conduct or assist with EHS employee site trainings, and participate in other EHS program activities to ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing environment. Specifically, workers that directly or indirectly support services that are invoiced to client through one of several contractual arrangements (e.g., time/materials, statement of work, purchase agreement, direct labor).

Education:

A College student who is working toward a 4 year environmental or safety degree would be awesome. I guess to relate that to more traditional terms minimum associates degree. Ideally in an environmental or safety discipline.

Shifts:

There are multiple 2nd and 3rd shift work schedules as each of the 4 major departments have a different schedule. Some start at 2:30 or 3:30 or 4:30 pm, and either end at 12:30 am, 2:30 or 3:30 am. And FYI, one department starts their first shift at 4:30 am.

So, for this EHS Specialist role, we primarily want someone to accommodate most of the evening hours by starting late afternoon. Also, open tomorrow someone starting as early as 3 pm and working thru 12 am (9 hours per day).

In addition, we will start this new person for their first 2 weeks during day shift hours so they can be properly trained before starting their night shift hours.

Outbound Call Representative (Toronto, ON)

There is an anticipated need for articulate Outbound Call Representatives with fluency in English. It involves lots of calling, diligent tracking of information, and some good old-fashioned detective work.

Specifically, you will: 

  • Receive an unstandardized list of people to be contacted, with varying levels of information
  • Contact each of those people, persisting until you reach them
  • Inform people of critical information, and what steps they need to take after the call

The Details:

As a Knowledge Base Specialist, you will be in charge of gathering information from multiple stakeholders within the company to create internal and public facing self-help content for new digital products.  

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the knowledge by staying in sync with multiple product team and making sure the content in accurate, up-to-date and helpful for our users. Your expertise will use to inform decisions on standards definition, knowledge strategy and best practices for the organisation.  

You will conduct ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of the new knowledge by observing its usage and evaluate its impact.

  • Create and maintain internal and public facing self-help content 
  • Determine and evaluate metrics to measure the efficacy of all content

The Project Engineer position is located in the Westborough R&D Life Cycle Engineering group within the Biotechnology business area in Life Sciences. The primary focus of this position is to provide technical guidance and expertise in the bioprocess area with applications and engineering knowledge of single-use bioreactor systems; cell bags and hollow fiber filtration. This position requires the application of design, investigation root cause analysis, product testing, data analysis and report writing to resolve customer complaints / product issues and implement existing product design improvements, all while working in a cross-functional team environment.

 Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Bioprocessing, Biopharmaceutical, Biotechnology or related field.
  • Demonstrated broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience with regulated industries quality systems and relevant regulations such as cGMP ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
  • Experience with Upstream Bioprocessing Equipment such as Bioreactors and mixers.
