Our market leading energy client has an immediate need for an OCM Specialist to support the GTM OCM team with the rollout of an Enterprise Asset Management Program. This is a contract position located in Calgary, with some travel to the USA required.

What you will be doing…

  • Develop OCM plan including stakeholder analysis, change readiness and change impact assessment.
  • In connection with the Enterprise Asset Management Program (EAMP) OCM Lead, develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communications plan.
  • In connection with the EAMP OCM Lead, develop and implement training plan.
  • Develop and implement sustainment plan.
  • Transparently work with EAMP OCM Lead and other OCM resources to ensure alignment.
  • Submit required OCM reporting to EAMP OCM Lead.
  • Flag and monitor business unit OCM risks and work with leads to plan and execute mitigation whenever possible.
  • Raise OCM risks and issues to the EAMP OCM Lead.
  • Support change capability building within business unit.
  • Provide change support to EAM Program lead within business unit.
  • Support OCM Training rollout, with communications support and guidance to work within the overall OCM plan.
  • Some travel, within North America, may be required.

  • Coordinates with other team members in contributing to software project quality.
  • Actively participate in engineering milestone reviews throughout the various phases of software development, including all phases from initial planning and requirements definition, through system level design, software design, implementation and testing, final system testing and deployment.
  • Apply departmental quality initiatives in meetings and in the lab through effective dialogue with Engineering, Media and Program Management regarding quality objectives and risk management.
  • Capture and record essential meeting outcomes and maintain records.
  • Maintain quality metrics for software and systems engineering activities in order to drive accountability, oversight and improvement.
  • Summarize and report on accumulated metrics to highlight quality issues.
  • Working with engineering team, oversee execution of final system acceptance tests (FSATs) of customer projects and represent Quality department in customer acceptance tests.
  • Participates in the Failure Review Board (FRB) and provides inputs for the software improvements and to validate that the corrective actions are closed.
  • Reviews and signs off all Software Engineering Change Orders in the CCB (Change Control Board) to ensure software meets the specifications and requirements.
  • Performs processes and software audits to ensure that they are meeting the required specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares or assists in development of documentation for inspection and testing procedures. Develop tools for monitoring and reporting the quality activities.
  • Participates in all required peer document reviews (test plan, outline drawing, etc.) that are deemed necessary to ensure actual respect of the Process, interfaces with all other engineering components within the company and with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.

The Intermediate DevOps Engineer as part of the 'API Agile Build and Run Team' will empower the team to deliver web APIs, microservices and proprietary IaaS servers effectively to the cloud via Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes. Apart from provisioning essential backing services, the Intermediate DevOps Engineer will be responsible for defining and maintaining build and test pipelines, as well as building template definitions for the APIs, services and servers that will allow them to be scheduled across various container orchestration clusters and environments. 

MUST HAVE SKILLS: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of position related professional experience 
  • Experience in delivering applications via CI / CD process 
  • Experience with build systems technologies, in particular: Jenkins / Jenkins Blue Ocean 
  • Experience delivering and operating containerized applications in the cloud

Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Platform

Job Description

In this position, you will be developing OS middleware services that integrate with the computer vision, perception and machine learning sub-systems running on the device. A deep knowledge of OS development principles (hard and soft real-time, threading, resource management, security, etc.), as well as a familiarity with existing AOSP implementations (binder, SurfaceFlinger, etc.) will serve you well in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with computer vision and machine learning teams to architect middleware services that enable multi-user AR experiences
  • Designing and developing core OS middleware systems using C and/or C++
  • Producing unit, functional, integration and interoperability tests, including automating tests when possible
  • Writing technical documents, including architecture diagrams and API descriptions

Qualifications

  • Fluency with common programming design patterns
  • 5+ years programming experience with C and/or C++
