Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with an industrial equipment and solutions provider that offers works with their clients to solve their power systems challenges.

As their new Forklift Operator, you will be working a full-time, contract position. You enjoy working in fast-paced, active environment that requires a keen attention to detail. You’re skilled with a counterbalance forklift and familiar with material handling technology.

You will be…

  • Operating a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a warehouse area
  • Completing any necessary paperwork in a timely manner
  • Using PCs and Scanners to move, allocate and track inventory
  • Working with others to complete tasks
  • Adjusting to changing priorities and using strong communication skills to achieve goals
  • Attend appropriate training and meetings as required
  • Always adhere to company safety policies and procedures 

Why this is the right job for you…  

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift license with min 2 years of experience
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to stand for an extended period and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Previous Warehouse and/or Shipping and Receiving experience
  • Demonstrated inventory management skills
  • Willingness to ask questions and give assistance as needed

Logistics & Support Technician

We are seeking a Logistics Support technician who will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations for construction scope and logistics capabilities includes: Transportation, Warehousing, Logistics Customer Service and Support Services for a 12+ month contract with extension beyond assignment in Hillsboro, OR

To perform above tasks, you must have:

4-7 years of experience in one or more of the following Disciplines:

• Warehouse & Transportation Management

• Prior experience supporting or directly working with Factory stakeholders

• Supplier Management, with proven track record of driving supplier performance improvements

• Ability to communicate with both tactical/technical team players but also to communicate laterally (partner groups) and upward to management

• Project management or team leadership roles that required advanced communication and facilitation skills

• Proven Decision Making and Problem-solving skills

• Proven influencing skills, including evidence of having presented decision-oriented / action-oriented presentations

• Analytical skills: Ability to gather cost/financial data and synthesize for report out to stakeholders

• Lean/Six Sigma skills/qualifications/experience
