POSITION SUMMARY
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and closing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. The position requires excellent organization, computer and strong phone skills, and the ability to close sales and meet targets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources, identify key players and generate interest
- Qualify and contact cold and warm leads to further the sales process
- Explain and demonstrate features of products and services opportunities
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets
- Preparing sales orders by reviewing information, and obtaining the necessary approvals
- Developing meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
- Maintaining accurate customer information within CRM system
- Verifying sample specifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to close sales
- Exceptional customer service skills, energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Exercise sound judgement and attention to detail
- Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon goals
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required; Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens, writes clearly and informatively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications and CRM with ability to learn new computer software programs
- Interpersonal skills with a focus on resolving conflict without blaming; Maintains confidentiality, listens to others without interrupting, keeps emotions under control, remains open to others

- Anticipate and adapt to change without losing focus on goals.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of inside sales experience
- History of exceeding quotas and generating new business
- Commodity or packaging sales experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, written & verbal required
- Computer literacy including ERP and CRM systems
- Basic accounting experience is preferred
