Our Client is one of the world's largest multinational utility companies.

We currently have an available contract to hire assignment for IT Business Analyst

If you have experience with the following, then we would like to meet with you.

Responsibilities Include: 

•    Production support of technology used to support a business area 
•    Acting as the liaison between the technology and the business 
•    Listening, asking questions, analyzing and then documenting the business need or issue 
•    Learning the business processes 
•    Learning the technology that supports the business processes 
•    Completing unit, integration and regression testing for applications, ensuring that processes are functioning as desired 
•    Collaborating directly with the FirstEnergy business areas, as well as other areas of IT to complete and/or manage assignments 
•    Delivering effective client support through the investigation and resolution of client issues 
•    Adhering to FirstEnergy Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) controls 
•    Serving as the IT Security Liaison for business applications 
•    Participating in workshops requiring explanation of as-is system processes 

Required Qualifications: 

•    Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, a related degree or commensurate experience 
•    Strong analytical skills to resolve problems and think creatively 
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills 
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision 
•    Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects 
•    Highly motivated to work independently and productively, with an aptitude to learn quickly 
•    Organizational skills to prioritize and plan work, multi-task and meet schedules 
•    Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment 
•    Comfortable with using standard FirstEnergy computer software – Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus Suite and an aptitude for using these technologies to accomplish work assignments 
•    Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and be available for call-in and after hours support if needed 
•    Basic knowledge of SQL, preferably Oracle 
•    Experience with SAP CRM 

Preferred Qualifications: 

•    Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) 
•    Experience interacting with auditors 
•    Experience with ABP Revenue Manager
