WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Advanced Excel- will need to create and run reports
  • Business Analyst – be able to analyze reports
  • Strong Communication – working with Regional Managers to develop presentations/marketing initiatives, communication with dealers on dealer inquiries, setting up events/meetings, etc. (direct interaction with dealerships)

Experience/Education:

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Bachelors Degree. In Marketing is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Western Region Sales/Service Marketing Manager on the implementation of Western Canada marketing plan development and execution
  • Provide insight on innovative marketing opportunities
  • Act as point person for Dealer events and sponsorships supported by the Region, i.e. Calgary Stampede, Big Valley Jamboree, etc.
  • Act as liaison between advertising agency and Dealer Marketing Boards/ Regional Marketing Advisory Boards
  • Assist with the set up and hosting of meetings with Marketing Boards as well as internal staff
  • Develop communiques for Dealers informing them of marketing initiatives and Go to Market strategy for the upcoming month in addition to the results of the past month
  • Utilizing intranet to communicate marketing material – Global Connect authoring
  • Processing monthly bills and updating forecasts
  • Schedule month end conference calls with Dealers in the Region
  • Complete a monthly Contact Analysis for Regional Director and Regional Managers
  • Update Dealer Dashboard and Action Plans monthly
  • Assist in the administration of the Dealer Co-Op Program
  • Complete Website Audits – Sales and Service as required
  • Complete Customer Satisfaction Ranking Report and Sales Ranking Report monthly
  • Administer the Client Courtesy Car and Pool Vehicle Program within the Region
  • Prepare adhoc Distribution reports as required
  • Attend, plan and organize Regional Professional Development Days
  • Point person for Regional and National Sales and Service contest development and reporting
  • Completes adhoc Certified Service or Marketing projects as required
  • Administer Client policies and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of various projects and reports, as required

Enterprise Asset Management Business Process Specialist

Our market leading energy client has an immediate need for an Enterprise Asset Management Business Process Specialist. This is a 12-month contract located in Calgary, Alberta.

What you will be doing…

  • Collect and document business requirements for implementing the EAM system, including but not limited to:
    • Finance

  • Senior level communication and other knowledge support for EAM through preparing materials for presentation to the Program Steering Committee and stakeholders.
  • Identify issues and risks and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of EAM program management.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of EAM and all the associated processes and practices.

Must Haves

  • Related university degree or equivalent technical training.
  • Experience with process and practice requirements & analysis/design/documentation.
  • Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities and comfortable in dealing with front line to senior leaders.

Enterprise Asset Management OCM Specialist

What you will be doing…

  • Mature the existing OCM Strategy to direct program development.
  • Develop OCM plan including stakeholder analysis, change readiness and change impact assessment.
  • In connection with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) OCM team, develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communications plan.

Intermediate IT Contract Analyst

Our client, a market leading integrated oil company is looking for an intermediate IT Contract Analyst to support an IS program that could include 10+ projects and associated procurement plans. This individual will have experience with software contracts and more specifically be knowledgeable and understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements and End User License Agreements (EULA). Experience with project management is important, as well as experience providing status updates and reporting to various levels within the organization.

What you will be doing…

This role is considered a specialized role and exercises considerable judgement in all areas of Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing. The individual in this role will provide leadership for other professionals and is responsible for driving cost savings and recognizing deficiencies in sourcing sharing contracts for good and services for multiple categories. They will also lead supplier performance management and periodic business reviews.

  • Lead the contract formation and contract administration process for various direct and indirect material purchases.
  • Develop issue and manage tinder documents (RFP, RFQ, RFI).
  • Negotiate contract commercial terms, ensuring they meet requirements of internal stakeholders (i.e. risk, legal, project management) and client standards.
  • Administer multiple contracts including issuance of change order requests, negotiation and approval of change orders, RFIs etc.
  • Lead proposal analysis and proposal commercial evaluations, and coordinate overall RFP evaluations with project clients.
  • Provide sound supply chain management advice and options to internal project clients while following established processes and proper authorization controls.
  • Develop and articulate project and contract acquisition strategies within area of responsibility and communicate strategies to project clients and senior management.
  • Manage competitive sourcing processes and single soul sourcing processes for major contracts.
  • Cross functional teams during contract tendering, formation, administration, and negotiation.

Turnaround Financial Administrator

Our client, a market leading integrated oil company is looking for an experienced Turnaround Finance Administrator for the preparation and execution of the 2020 Turnaround. The individual will liaise with various corporate and on-site departments to assure the strategic management of allocation of costs to the appropriate AFE structure. They will work hand in hand with Turnaround Administrator, and planning lead in the execution of their duties. This is a Fly in /Fly out role with a 7 on, 7 off, 12 hours per day rotation.

What you will be doing…

  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payables.
  • Maintain reports on financial metrics.
  • Keep records of invoices and daily time sheets.
  • Identify and address account discrepancies.
  • Report on financial projections for month, quarter and annual.
  • Work with the Turnaround Management team to develop and report daily progress and projections on Key Performance Indicators.
  • Lead the tracking and reporting of various financial related action items and initiatives.
  • Create and manage AFE and budgets with tracking and reporting on regular basis.
  • Provide updates on Planned vs Actuals. Monitor CPI (cost performance index) for TA.
  • Report the turnaround burn rate on daily or shift basis.
  • Extract reports and data from SAP and build the summary report for overall expenditure. Reporting on Spotfire or any other tool (Excel etc).
  • Provide inputs in Financial KPIs and track progress identifying initiatives that can improve efficiencies.
  • Work in liaison with various turnaround interfaces to capture and appropriate funds and expenditure in coordination with Finance.
  • Provide input and feedback to Finance as and when requested.
  • Develop spreadsheets for tracking of manhours.
  • Establish a system to track the time on LEMS and invoicing in coordination with the contractors.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to timely invoice and follow up on pending invoices.

What you will need to succeed…

Must Haves

  • Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions).
  • SAP knowledge and ability to get Financial reports.
  • 5 years’ experience working in cost control.
  • Time-management and organization skills.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an operating facility.
  • Experience in operations/turnaround finance.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.

Materials Coordinator IV

Our market leading Calgary based client has an immediate need for a Sr. Coordinator of Materials.  This person must have substantial prior experience working for the pipeline industry, experience using field purchasing control systems, previous experience generating completion reports, and able to perform duties of the Sr. Material Clerk.  This is a ten (10) month contract position based in Calgary.

 

The primary responsibility of the Sr. Material Coordinator shall be to plan, schedule, and coordinate the material procurement program to meet the area construction schedule. The Sr. Material Coordinator shall maintain control of all construction materials for construction projects. The responsibilities assigned to the Sr. Material Coordinator will include but not be limited to the following:

 

• Assist with planning, scheduling, reviewing and coordinating material procurement to meet the area construction schedule.

• Maintain administrative control of all construction materials as required for construction projects.

• Assisting in initiating purchase requisitions for critical materials as necessary to meet construction needs and contract obligations.

• Supervises the procurement of materials not ordinarily procured by the Purchasing Department.

• Participates in the training of the Material Clerks.

• Submits project status reports as required.

• Coordinates flow of material in the material delivery program including the issuance of Purchase Orders, inspections at vendor facilities, preservation requirements, transfer of care/custody/control, Shipping Releases required for shipment, coordination with the site Chief Inspector for delivery, receipt and logging of Material Receiving Reports provided by the contractor, resolving Overage, Shortage and Damage Reports issued by the contractor, Non Conformances Reports issued against the vendor, warranty claims issued against the vendor, required spares and a strategy for the use of surplus material.

  • Within the flow of material in the material delivery program, recommends, implements and provide corrective actions for areas of concern.
  • Providing assistance with securing temporary storage and laydowns areas for client supplied material and equipment

• Maintains contact with Purchasing, Design and Construction personnel as well as outside vendors to discuss matters relating to the procurement of materials.

• Verifies accuracy of material ordered on authorization and purchase orders to the construction drawings. Corrects and procures material missed or ordered incorrectly.

• Maintains contact with Plant Accounting regarding work order differences.

• Works with Material Clerks regarding completion reports and unitizing of various items.

• Ensures that all completion reports are received by Plant Accounting within a reasonable time after completion of a project to verify that all materials are accounted for.

 

The Sr. Material Coordinator should have substantial prior experience working for the pipeline industry, experience using field purchasing control systems, previous experience generating completion reports, able to perform duties of the Sr. Material Clerk and demonstrated ability to work without close supervision.

Our client, a market leading integrated oil company is looking for an experienced Turnaround Scheduler to provide scheduling functions for camp maintenance staff and associated contractors using the tools, processes, and procedures that are part of the client’s Turnaround Planning Process (TAPP).

In this role you will strategically schedule Turnaround maintenance activities and scheduling task lists prepared by the Turnaround Planners. You will liaison with all site personnel to ensure that right work is being done at the right time using the right resources in the safest, most fiscally responsible and efficient manner. As part of the Turnaround Planning Team you will support the overall preparation and the safe and successful execution of the 2020 Turnaround.

What you will be doing…

  • Collaborate with all other Sunrise Department personnel to develop strategies, processes, procedures, work flows, practices and KPI's.
  • Build individual task lists in SAP for attachment to Turnaround work orders and scheduling in GWOS/STO.
  • Prioritize, plan, develop and schedule multi trade Turnaround maintenance and integrated capital project activities to be completed during the Turnaround window (PJP's).
  • Build Turnaround PJP's for action by turnaround execution resources including contractors.
  • Strategically schedule all Turnaround work orders/task lists for the most efficient use of resources and time, leveraging all possible efficiencies.
  • Adhere to the Turnaround Planning Process.
  • Capture, order and reserve all material requirements for each job plan.
  • Monitor and ensure a high standard of data integrity in SAP including the WBS/AFE structure, equipment master and material master data.
  • Provide input to Procurement to develop the Turnaround Contracting strategy as well as work scopes for service contract RFP's, bid evaluation and awards.
  • Working closely with HSE, Maintenance, operations, Asset Integrity and engineering personnel to set turnaround priorities, resolve execution issues and provide leadership in troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Contribute to the construction and assembly of both the electronic and hard copy Turnaround manuals.
  • Manage Turnaround work orders with proper coding and status updates.
  • Provide support to engineering in developing estimates for project execution.
  • Participate in cost tracking exercises.
  • Preparation and assembly of the necessary documentation and drawings required to send equipment off site for repairs and holding vendors to strict guidelines regarding deliverables.
  • Monitoring, updating and issuance of the daily turnaround schedule during the execution phase.
  • Ensure the timely scheduling and execution of both pre and post turnaround trade activities.
  • Participate in post turnaround review and lessons learned exercises.

What you will need to succeed…

Must Haves

  • High School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years as a Trade Journeyman Red Seal, Certified Engineering Technologist, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' concurrent experience in a Turnaround Planning role.
  • Understanding of the job functions of the trades (Pipefitting, Instrumentation, Electrical, Millwrights, Scaffolding, Insulation, Welding).
  • Experience in T/A Scheduling using Primavera or other T/A/ Project Scheduling Platforms.
  • Working Experience with SAP – PM, MM Modules.
  • P&ID Reading capabilities.
  • 10 years in a Maintenance role in the oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Wood industry.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point).

  • Develop and maintain a midstream asset development plan that supports the growth of the thermal heavy oil facility, taking into consideration regional industry pipeline development and growth. Provide midstream input to asset planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Build and lead comprehensive business cases and present well-articulated, concise recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead framing, evaluating and progressing opportunities through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Independently complete project evaluations.
  • Identify commercial optimization strategies and lead their successful implementation.
  • Provide value assurance of deal proposals.
  • Attend several industry forums to understand issues and influence internally and externally.

What you will need to succeed…

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce or Engineering.
  • Masters Degree in Business is an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in the oil and gas industry in midstream space.

Our client who is a leader in the North American Energy market has an immediate need for a Data Analyst for a 3-month contract (with a strong possibility of extension) located in Calgary Alberta.

What you will be doing…

  • Working with the Database Administrators and Data Architects to support the data needs of the organization.

Our market leading energy client has an immediate need for a Contract Specialist to join their team.  This is a 12-month position located out of Calgary during the Contract Sourcing stage, with relocation to a field location during the execution of the Construction Contract Administration.

Integrity Engineer (RBIM Engineer)

Our prominent oil and gas client has an immediate need for an Integrity Engineer (RBIM Engineer) to join their team for a nine (9) month contract opportunity located in their Calgary corporate headquarters.

Position Summary:

This position supports the development, implementation and sustainment of the Risk Based Integrity Management (RBIM) Program for pressure equipment, piping, storage tanks and fired heaters. This includes providing technical support and coordination to all parties involved in the program as well as developing and implementing processes and procedures.

Maintenance Planner

Our market leading integrated oil company has an immediate need for a Maintenance Planner to join their team in their Calgary head office location for a six month contract opportunity.

The Thermal Heavy Oil Business Unit is committed to building a successful Operations team built upon the principles of the Operational Integrity system. The Maintenance Planner will play a key role in the development of the facilities’ Maintenance department from grassroots to best-in-class. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this position will actively assist in the development and execution of various maintenance and integrity assurance philosophies, programs and procedures as has been implemented in the District, with particular focus on proactive maintenance measures and first in class asset management.

This position is based in the Calgary office.

Responsibilities During the Construction and CSU phase, which are significantly completed, this is an excellent opportunity to build upon your expertise and experience to:

  • Play a key role in operational integrity assurance by leading the development of maintenance inspection plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Operations team to execute maintenance strategies, procedures, workflows, practices and KPIs with a focus on first in class asset management and culture.
  • Liaise with the RBIM (Risk Based Integrity Management) team through implementation to the scheduling of initial base line inspections and through to complete planning in place for ongoing RBIM inspections in the operations phase
  • Ensure that data for the maintenance management CMMS system (SAP) is captured at the engineering stage.
  • Lead in the Risk and FMEA analysis for newly added equipment from recent projects resulting in criticality rankings and Maintenance strategies for equipment.
  • Lead in the development of equipment PMs and the scheduling/load leveling of PM activities
  • Lead in spares analysis resulting in a spares purchasing and warehousing strategy
  • Lead the development of spare parts listings and BOMs and coordinate data management to achieve excellence in data integrity.
  • Lead in SAP data population of both equipment and spare parts master data and overall SAP implementation.
  • Work closely with Procurement to develop work scopes for service contract RFQs, evaluate bids and award contracts.
  • Participate as required in the development of turnaround equipment PJPs and planning with a focus on turnaround scheduling and preparedness.
  • Play a key role in the startup and first years of operation of the phase 1 Central Processing Facility and Field Facilities

During the Operating Phase, which is significantly under way, the successful candidate will work closely with maintenance, operations and engineering personnel and be responsible for developing effective relationships with other groups within the organization as well as with contractors, suppliers and service providers.   • Inputting to, planning and scheduling of unit outages and major turnaround scopes and assist as required during unplanned equipment or plant outages.
  • Developing and monitoring of the day to day schedule and reporting on selected KPIs with input and support from operations and maintenance team leaders.
  • Prioritizing, Planning and Scheduling the work of a multi-disciplined operational team using SAP and GWOS.
  • Working closely with maintenance, operations and engineering personnel to set maintenance priorities, resolve execution issues and provide leadership in troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Manage notifications and work orders within due dates and maintain accurate backlogs.
  • Preparation and assembly of the necessary documentation and drawings required to send equipment off site for repairs and holding vendors to strict reporting guidelines.
  • Input, analyze, report, monitor and assist in the management of the PM/PDM process in SAP
  • Monitoring and ensuring that a high standard of data integrity is being maintained in SAP inclusive of PMs, BOMs, equipment masters, material masters, entry of work order history into notifications and that proper notification & work order coding is maintained.
  • Supervise an on-site SAP Data technician and Planning assistant as well as two Calgary based data technicians.
  • Interfacing with the Engineering team and the Technical Services group to identify support issues, and to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Implementing effective Preventative Maintenance programs and, where appropriate, move toward Predictive Maintenance
  • Periodic auditing of maintenance procedures and practices
  • Working with the Leadership Team in the preparation of maintenance operating and capital budgets

Must Have Skills:

  • Planning certificates from third party training institutions relating to planning, estimating, scheduling, asset management, RCM, PDM and project or turnaround management
  • Any of the following Journeyman Certifications (I.P. Standard), Instrumentation, Electrical, Millwright, Pipefitting, Boilermaking and Welding
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with maintenance CMMS systems
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with scheduling programs
  • Minimum 5 years experience with SAP is required
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a maintenance role within a refinery, gas plant, petrochemical complex or similar environment
  • Min. 5 years experience with maintenance programs/databases
