What you will be doing…

  • You’ll bring deep functional expertise to develop polished modular code in a distinctive way to ensure large-scale business impact of the digital products being built and drive competitive advantage.

Must Haves

  • Full stack Development experience (5+ minimum, 10+ preferred) that includes Web development but most importantly, Windows Desktop Application development and Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • At least one year of experience with Windows Application front end work using UWP, WPF and/or WinForms
  • Strong knowledge in back-end technologies: ASP.NET and C# programming language
  • Proficient in the utilization of Design Patterns for both back and front end

Our client, a market leading integrated oil company is looking for Supply Accountant to support interacts  the Canadian Products Marketing business units, refineries, and finance and supply billing teams. In this role you will be the daily interface for booking and transport requirements for the air carrier, camp, internal employees and camp contractors. You will be responsible to liaison with leads in these respective areas to ensure smooth operations.

What you will be doing…

  • Be the single point of contact between client and contractor passengers regarding bookings with the air carrier supporting the Flight Program and camp bookings.
  • Oversee daily and on-going flight, ground transportation and aerodrome related issue included but not limited to daily operations, time delays, air-craft availability, weather changes, passenger requirements, after hours support in collaboration with SWS Camp Advisors and site admins.

  • Review flight manifests and camp arrivals the day prior to departure to ensure accuracy and eliminate discrepancies.
  • Work with corporate leadership team and site management to translate corporate initiatives into operational programs.

Maintenance Planner

Our client, a market leading integrated oil company is looking for a Maintenance Planner to support in the development of the Sunrise Maintenance department from grassroots to best-in-class. This Individual will actively assist in the development and execution of various maintenance and integrity assurance philosophies, programs and procedures as has been implemented in the Sunrise District, with focus on proactive maintenance measures and first in class asset management.

What you will be doing…

During the Construction and CSU phase, which are significantly completed, this is an excellent opportunity to build upon your expertise and experience to:

  • Play a key role in operational integrity assurance by leading the development of maintenance inspection plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Sunrise Operations team to execute maintenance strategies, procedures, workflows, practices and KPIs with a focus on first in class asset management and culture.
  • Liaise with the client’s RBIM (Risk Based Integrity Management) team through implementation to the scheduling of initial base line inspections and through to complete planning in place for ongoing RBIM inspections in the operations phase.
  • Ensure that data for the maintenance management CMMS system (SAP) is captured at the engineering stage.
  • Lead in the Risk and FMEA analysis for newly added equipment from recent projects resulting in criticality rankings and Maintenance strategies for equipment.
  • Lead in the development of equipment PMs and the scheduling/load leveling of PM activities
  • Lead in spares analysis resulting in a spares purchasing and warehousing strategy
  • Lead the development of spare parts listings and BOMs and coordinate data management to achieve excellence in data integrity.
  • Lead in SAP data population of both equipment and spare parts master data and overall SAP implementation.
  • Work closely with procurement to develop work scopes for service contract RFQs, evaluate bids and award contracts.
  • Participate as required in the development of turnaround equipment PJPs and planning with a focus on turnaround scheduling and preparedness.
  • Play a key role in the Startup and first years of operation of the phase 1 Central Processing Facility and Field Facilities.

During the Operating Phase, which is significantly under way, the successful candidate will work closely with maintenance, operations and engineering personnel and be responsible for developing effective relationships with other groups as well as with contractors, suppliers and service providers.   • Prioritizing, Planning and Scheduling the work of a multi-disciplined operational team using SAP and GWOS.

  • Planning certificates from third party training institutions relating to planning, estimating, scheduling, asset management, RCM, PDM and project or turnaround management.

  • Develop, issue and manage tender documents (RFPs, RFQ, RFIs).

  • Conduct market and competitive intelligence research and analysis within areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain contract records in SAP, ensuring governance requirements are always met.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Our client, a market leading integrated oil company is looking for an experienced Turnaround Scheduler to provide scheduling functions for camp maintenance staff and associated contractors using the tools, processes, and procedures that are part of the client’s Turnaround Planning Process (TAPP).

In this role you will strategically schedule Turnaround maintenance activities and scheduling task lists prepared by the Turnaround Planners. You will liaison with all site personnel to ensure that right work is being done at the right time using the right resources in the safest, most fiscally responsible and efficient manner. As part of the Turnaround Planning Team you will support the overall preparation and the safe and successful execution of the 2020 Turnaround.

What you will be doing…

  • Collaborate with all other Sunrise Department personnel to develop strategies, processes, procedures, work flows, practices and KPI's.
  • Build individual task lists in SAP for attachment to Turnaround work orders and scheduling in GWOS/STO.
  • Prioritize, plan, develop and schedule multi trade Turnaround maintenance and integrated capital project activities to be completed during the Turnaround window (PJP's).
  • Build Turnaround PJP's for action by turnaround execution resources including contractors.
  • Strategically schedule all Turnaround work orders/task lists for the most efficient use of resources and time, leveraging all possible efficiencies.

  • Manage Turnaround work orders with proper coding and status updates.

  • Preparation and assembly of the necessary documentation and drawings required to send equipment off site for repairs and holding vendors to strict guidelines regarding deliverables.
  • Monitoring, updating and issuance of the daily turnaround schedule during the execution phase.

  • Participate in post turnaround review and lessons learned exercises.

What you will be doing…

  • Working with the Database Administrators and Data Architects to support the data needs of the organization.

Senior Industrial Control Systems Engineer

How you will bring value…

In this role, you will be involved with developing and maintaining an OT cyber security program, reviewing and developing system architecture designs to support control and SCADA system communications, and providing ICS engineering technical support to Operations, Maintenance and Construction groups.

What you will be doing…

  • Prepare technical solutions to resolve highly complex and diverse ICS tasks across the Capital Power fleet. 
  • Maintain and optimize PI historian data, including system administration, graphic development, AF framework development and performance equation analytics.
  • Provide SCADA operations and maintenance support for Renewables and Control Center Operations.
  • Designs complex security and communication aspects of ICS upgrades and projects to maximize availability and mitigate risk of cyber threats. 
  • Contributes to the development and ongoing maintenance of the compliance program for NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection.
  • Provides input into the Industrial Controls business plan.
  • Provides technical direction to contract and maintenance staff to facilitate the completion of ICS related tasks. 
  • Reviews, applies, and develops internal standards.
  • Takes ownership and accountability for work tasks and deliverables. 
  • Participates in the peer review process to ensure the responsible practice of engineering at Capital Power, in compliance with the Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP).
  • Helps to ensure Management of Change (MOC) compliance and review for ICS related work across the fleet.
  • Works collaboratively and builds strong relationships with others.
  • Provides leadership, mentoring and guidance to junior staff including students and EITs. 
  • Acts to continually improve technical and management skillset through formal and informal training opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and recommend timely decisions.

What you will need to succeed…

  • Engineering Degree in Computer, Process Control or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineering or Professional Licensee status in Canada.
  • Other educational backgrounds will be considered depending on experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in practicing engineering including a minimum of 2 years of networking and cyber security experience with industrial control systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Operational Technology, SCADA and ICS Cyber Security best practices.
  • OSI PI historian, SQL and data analytics.
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, ICCP, DNP3, OPC.
  • Experience with control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, RTU) troubleshooting, upgrades, lifecycle management and interfacing with different vendors.
  • Familiarity with NIST, NERC CIP and other standards related to cyber security and ICS design.
  • Solid understanding of codes and standards related to controls and industrial networks design.
  • Experience with Virtual Machines and server configuration.
  • Experience with Windows server and client OS administration, patching and AntiVirus software.

Overview:

  • Support a team of product owners that is tasked with implementing and integrating automation systems in Pipeline Integrity
  • Responsible for developing and managing benefits/value realization assessments to ensure projected business value is being delivered by new automation opportunities

Accountabilities:

  • Defines and executes on delivery and business implementation plans, ensuring automation systems are used as designed and expected
  • Assist the business with process re-engineering activities
  • Designs and maintains appropriate value/benefits realization measurements and metrics to prove strong ROI
  • Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process alongside product owners
  • Involved in pre-implementation demos to promote the products and confirm requirements
  • Translates business requirements back to the product owner as required
  • Maintains strong business sponsorship for all projects, engaging the appropriate subject matter experts and leaders to ensure projects are delivered and adopted successfully in Pipeline Integrity
  • Supports projects that improve data quality and promote the use of data  to meet strategic business goals
  • Ensure automation system support services are delivered throughout Pipeline Integrity so engineers make best use of the systems, engaging TIS for TIER 1/2/3 support as necessary
  • Develops, implements and supports data and records management processes and works with other departments to ensure alignment and accountability

  • The role requires exceptional expertise and attention to detail as the information being managed is utilized in making critical pipeline safety decisions

Our prominent oil and gas client has an immediate need for an Integrity Engineer (RBIM Engineer) to join their team for a nine (9) month contract opportunity located in their Calgary corporate headquarters.

Position Summary:

  • Travel will be required occasionally
