• Develop, test, debug and integrate embedded system software

• Support system bring up, board power on, BSP and peripheral device drivers integration

• Familiar with Camera, audio/video compression

• Assess third-party and open-source software modules and releases

To perform the above tasks, you must have the below skills:

• 5 years of experience in Linux kernel, software development, and integration

• Solid programming experience in C/C++ and Python

• Proven experience in embedded systems design with multitasking real-time operating systems

• Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on embedded targets

• Strong OS fundamentals, Linux kernel, file systems, and debugging experienced are preferred

• Familiarity with software configuration management, defect tracking, and peer review tools

• Cross-platform, commercial product software development and deployments are pluses.

We are seeking an Engineering Laboratory Technician who will be responsible to ensure testing is executed and functioning as required throughout the testing process for a 6-month contract assignment in Chandler, AZ.

We are seeking a Validation Engineer who will be responsible to perform measurements of a cellular wireless device in adherence to system requirements and industry specifications, over voltage and temperature conditions for a 5+ months contract assignment with extension beyond in Chandler, AZ.

·        Experience validating wireless/RF systems or radios would be an added advantage.

·        Knowledge and practical experience with compute platforms, especially developing Linux scripting, LabVIEW and driver calls is highly desirable.

·        Mature skills in this area could outweigh inexperience in the wireless domain.

Rework Engineering Technician

This position is a 6-month contract with a competitive wage.

You’ll work closely with the yield and defect engineers to characterize new assembly and substrate technologies. You’ll also figure out the root cause of any electrical or visual mechanical defects you come across.

Specifically, you will:

·        Perform technical functions that support engineering activities (characterization of substrate, die and related assembly technologies)

·        Conduct engineering tests for data collection and research

·        Share what you find verbally and via reports to yield engineers and LYA analysts

·        Conduct analysis with the following techniques

o   Cross section: mechanical X-section, ion mill

o   Microscopy: SEM/EDX, X-ray, FIB, AFM and CSAM

o   FTIR, Raman, XPS

The Details

This is a 6-month contract working out of our laboratory in Chandler, AZ. Wage will be between $25 and $26 per hour. You’ll work Sunday to Thursday, 12pm to 8pm.

 

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

·        A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, or a related field

·        3+ years’ experience working in a lab environment

·        Experience with analysis techniques (X-section, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray and Optical Inspection, Ion Milling, FIB)

·        Knowledge of basic statistical analysis tools such as JMP

·        Strong communication skills to communicate with engineers and technicians
