Responsibilities
We are looking for a Cloud Operations/Administration Engineer to help support Client Open Source Technology Center, Cloud & Data Center strategy. Our group is responsible for supporting and enabling Open Source projects including contributions to multiple cloud and data center solutions supporting OpenStack, Linux distributions and the Linux kernel, networking and storage to name a few. This person will support our cloud engineering team in creating and maintaining open source community facing projects being developed in our cloud engineering lab, develop and document product technical information and enable product demos. Responsibilities

The Mechanical/Thermal engineering technician will validate mechanical/thermal engineering designs, assist in developing test plans, and ensure the correct validation procedures are being followed on tools utilized in the validation process. They may make sketches and rough layouts of validation test hardware or test units, record and analyze data, make calculations and estimates, and report their findings to engineers and engineering teams. Candidate will assist in the development of CPU thermal/mechanical solutions for various server and workstation market segments by working with a team of cross-site architects, mechanical, thermal, and electrical engineers. They will be testing thermal mechanical solutions according to the test plans which will include wind tunnel testing and testing of mechanical stresses using lab equipment.   • Linux administration (CentOS & Ubuntu) administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrade and Pkg installation. Knowledge of computer diagnostics and installation, to include hardware/software troubleshooting and networking
  • Server administration (HW experience): Familiarity with the operation and configuration of networking protocols, network interface card installation, switches, and similar
  • Communication skills (working with team members and internal customers)
