We are looking for a Customer Solutions Representative who will be responsible for responding to customer billing inquiries, administrative, program management and support functions related to interconnecting customer-owned distributed generation facilities. The is a contract opportunity and the location in Waltham, MA.

Summary:

This position would be responsible for responding to customer billing inquiries, administrative, program management and support functions related to interconnecting customer-owned distributed generation facilities. These activities would support areas such as, but not limited to, contract administration, renewable energy and net metering programs, various stakeholder reporting, online portal management, process improvement and on-going operational responsibilities for such facilities in accordance with applicable interconnection requirements involving FERC, ISO-NE, ISO-NY, state regulatory and incentive programs, and corporate tariffs and operating procedures.

Key Accountabilities

•        Provide support in administering Community DG programs and other incentive programs.

•        Assist in maintaining records of the DG project beyond the first-time setup of the account.

•        Help troubleshoot various billing, metering, and account maintenance issues after the interconnection.

•        Process administrative, program-related and design changes for existing DG projects.

•        Provide billing support for the development of Distributed Energy Resource (DER) programs across National Grid service territories.

•        Act as the primary point of contact for internal & external stakeholders for aftercare activities.

Qualification Requirements

•        An associate degree in a related area and 2 years of related experience is required.

•        Customer Management experience in the utility industry preferred.

•        Knowledge of renewable energy programs and interconnection is highly desirable.

•        Proficiency with Customer Management systems (CRM, Salesforce etc) is preferred.

•        Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Change Management Analyst

We are looking for a Change Management Analyst who will be familiar with organizational change management (OCM) and can develop and execute OCM strategies and plans.

Position Purpose:

This position will support the OCM Leads and collaborate with various support resources (e.g., training and communications) to deliver tightly integrated and effective change management plans to support the achievement of the program’s objectives and realize business results.

This role is responsible for evolving activities to support the OCM and GME teams’ operational needs and deliverables. A key focus will be on partnering with the engineering team to document and interpret step by step workflow processes and training requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Readiness & Engagement

•        Coordinate OCM activities including meetings and events, stakeholder management, communications, and training material development support and delivery.

•        Collect, document, and interpret program specific information about key Grid Modernization initiatives

•        Assess audience-specific impacts.

•        Assess change for impacted groups; recommend inputs to the Communications and End User Training Plans

•        Develop and execute a series of readiness deliverables (checklists, plans, focus groups, and meeting contributions) to understand the effectiveness of the change.

Training Support

•        Work with OCM Instructional Designer to develop training materials and content.

•        Coordinate meetings with stakeholders, collection of information, training delivery, etc.

•        Supports the end-to-end needs of training development and training delivery.

Capabilities

•        Performs special projects as assigned or requested.

•        Ability to pay attention to important details.

•        Demonstrated Change Management experience, including managing multiple internal stakeholders and projects.

•        Ability to quickly absorb complex electrical engineering information; translate to clear, basic information.

•        Create work plan by defining key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

•        Track progress of activities and ensure all deliverables are completed and delivered on time.

•        Provide weekly status updates on accomplishments, planned activities, risks, issues, and milestones.

•        A self-starter not requiring daily direction, but can assess, plan and schedule work based on the needs of the Change Management and Grid Mod teams

•        The successful candidate must be able to work remotely as needed, thrive, produce, and create clarity in sometimes ambiguous and challenging situations within a matrix-driven environment.

•        Experience with PowerPoint and Excel

•        The position requires extreme flexibility and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fluid environment.

Qualifications

•        Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business, organizational development, or related field

•        Ability to translate complex technical subject matter into user-friendly communications.

•        Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines simultaneously.

•        Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

EPC Project Manager

We are looking for an EPC Project Manager to support our multinational electricity and gas utility company in Waltham MA for a contract duration of 12-months.

·        Ensure NY Electric projects adhere to the Complex Capital Delivery process for the timely creation and approval of the Project Execution Plan which includes preliminary engineering, baseline schedule, detailed cost estimate, risk profile and resource strategy.

·        Assemble cross functional project team to establish development and design requirements, milestones and affordability ceilings while driving adherence of the frameworks, policies, procedures, controls and reporting necessary to drive an efficient and effective approach to project development that optimizes the success of NY Electric capital project delivery.

·        Work closely with SHE to identify and respond appropriately to any potential hazards, incidents or circumstances that impact the safety, wellbeing and working environment of any complex construction projects within own jurisdiction.

·        Facilitate and encourage the introduction of new technologies and innovative solutions to improve the delivery of NY Electric capital projects safely, on time, and in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.

Must-have

·        7+ years’ experience in electric operations engineering, project management, utility construction or equivalent relevant experience.

·        A Bachelor’s degree required in an engineering discipline and/or significant relevant project management, engineering, and construction experience in all aspects of utility natural gas construction operations. Master’s degree in engineering discipline, MBA or relevant equivalent preferred.

·        Preference given to candidates with a Professional Engineer’s license and/or Certified Project Management Professional.

·        Considerable proven experience in direct project development and design including milestone management, resourcing, affordability, risk management, reporting and possess team leadership and influencing skills.

·        Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, integrity, and ability to interact with company personnel, contractors, regulatory representatives, and town/city officials in a positive collaborative manner.

·        Knowledge of electrical system operations, engineering, environmental, engineering economics, and familiarity with legal, purchasing, and utility accounting regulations.

·        Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints. Bottom-line oriented, budget conscious, metric/measurement driven.

·        Ability to create a high energy team climate whereby team members can discuss relevant issues freely and where there is a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

·        Strong skills in electrical engineering design, project management, stakeholder engagement, presentation, construction management, interpersonal, oral & written communication, critical analysis and capable of leading and influencing teams, and gaining support and commitment from a wider operational group.

We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide critical bioprocess knowledge to our Product Care Life Cycle Engineering team for a 12 months contract in Westborough, MA

The Project Engineer position is located in the Westborough R&D Life Cycle Engineering group within the Biotechnology business area in Life Sciences. The primary focus of this position is to provide technical guidance and expertise in the bioprocess area with applications and engineering knowledge of single-use bioreactor systems; cell bags and hollow fiber filtration. This position requires the application of design, investigation root cause analysis, product testing, data analysis and report writing to resolve customer complaints / product issues and implement existing product design improvements, all while working in a cross-functional team environment.

 Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Bioprocessing, Biopharmaceutical, Biotechnology or related field.
  • Demonstrated broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience with regulated industries quality systems and relevant regulations such as cGMP ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
  • Experience with Upstream Bioprocessing Equipment such as Bioreactors and mixers.
