IT Business Process Specialist

Responsibilities:

Work with vendor Alden to get familiar with the Alden One software and how to process permitting requests, billing requests, and audit requests through company workflows that will be built into the software. Work with vendor in evaluating how Alden One software can be integrated with Maximo, ESRI and CSS. Ability to retrieve data from database using SQL for either reporting options or transferring data to external systems.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of data analysis experience including ETL and Data Mining
  • advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions and formulas.
  • Experience creating SQL queries
  • Used advanced MS Excel functionality to perform ad-hoc data analysis and create reports for Operations Department teams.
  • Conceptualized and developed integrated data mining and tracking system; collected customer behavior and financial information.
  • Utilized MS Excel Power Query and Power Pivot functionality to extract, transform, and load (ETL) customer data from disparate sources.
  • Vendor Relationship Management experience
  • Successfully planned and managed multiple cross-departmental projects and managed vendor relationship during pilot program for third-party platform and communicated progress and overall status to stakeholders daily.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 2010 ¡V2016 software including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, and GP.
  • Microsoft CRM power user.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Business Problem Solving
  • Data Analysis
  • SQL Reporting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Job Description:

  • Perform detail Transmission drafting work to create, update and maintain identified drawings; and to do other related drafting work as assigned.
  • In this connection to perform details of work, such as: Draw, update and maintain transmission substation and line drawings, electrical, civil, structural, building and other diagrams associated with transmission design, with computer or, when necessary, by hand.
  • Change drawings to match marked prints or verbal instructions.
  • Create, maintain and prepare special posters, signs, charts, maps or reports when requested.
  • Assist in taking field measurements or sketches at the site to resolve discrepancies on drawings or maps, and/or obtain additional information.
  • Maintain and update information in the electronic drawing management system.
  • Quality and accuracy in updating and maintaining drawings and information.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from high school or the equivalent Must have taken some CAD courses.

GIS Technician

Position: GIS Technician

Location: Sunset Hills, Missouri

Duration: Until Oct. 2019 (possible extension)

Job Description:

  • Provide QA/QC support for spatial realignment activities.
  • Participate in projects to develop and improve the company GIS system model and related applications.
  • Using GIS Software, post as-built changes required due to construction projects, Maintain and update landbase (e.g., subdivisions, municipal annexations, roads, etc.) and coordinate resolution of error reports including TLM, OAS and ADMS.
  • Check finished mapping and detailed drawings for quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
  • Create, maintain, and prepare special maps, drawings, or reports as required.
  • Provide maps and specialized drawings for division and internal customers as required for design and maintenance such as feeder and street lighting maps, real estate exhibits, and for periodic quality assurance and reliability inspections.
  • Maintain and update information in Transformer Load Management system.
  • Assist in the development of procedures, processes, and methods for system record maintenance.
  • Assist with special assignments such as change management, continuous Improvement, software upgrades/enhancement projects, mapping & design related tools (i.e. tagging & numbering programs), etc.
  • Facilitate efficient utilization of GIS and other mapping products by Co-Workers.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field is required, preferably in Computer-Aided Design or Engineering Technology.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Proficiency with GIS, Microstation, Auto CAD, or other CAD-related software preferred.
  • One or more years of experience in designing, analyzing, or interpreting construction drawings preferred.
  • Experience in utility design, construction, or supervision including distribution line, surveying, and estimating with knowledge of utility standards, procedures, and distribution systems preferred.
  • In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
    • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.
