The candidate is going to work on Front End development.

  • Experience with vue.js is a strong plus. If not experience with Angularjs or react is required.
  • Works to become a subject matter expert in one or more areas of software engineering

May have a specific focus in one or more of the following:

  • Designs, deploys, and supports best in class software, development processes and software development tools;
  • Develops tasks including module design and coding, debugging, and documentation of application programs and systems level programming;
  • conducts systems programming and systems support activities;
  • Develops coding and design tasks to ensure software meets specified performance, scalability and reliability requirements;
  • Defines model interfaces/formats for performance simulation;
  • Defines the module specific requirements for software development projects;
  • Designs, analyzes, plans, and modifies network components supporting communication implementation activities;
  • Provides support to customer and account teams to understand customer requirements and responds to customer problems.
  • Works on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Domain and technical leadership in at least one project area.
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of the domain’s impact on one or more projects.
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require regular use of creativity.
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3 years’ experience at the Engineer Two level or 5 – 8 years total experience.

Job Description:

The Project goal is optimizing products, services and data information to support Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning across the enterprise using Unified Data Architecture with Enterprise Data Warehouses on Teradata and Big Data on a Hadoop platform. The developer will work as part of the team to enhance the analytics prognostic environment with hardening and architecture adjustments to meet the increase in new airlines receiving machine learning based prognostics. It is a complex platform. Local candidates will be given preference.

Must Have:

  • Extensive experience (at least 3+ years, end to end) in Python full life cycle development from requirement analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, build and deployment, ideally include Python module/package development
  • Experience with Java and object-oriented programming

Job Description:

An operations engineer to support a complex big data engineering system managing aircraft flight sensor information.

Operations – Experience Required

  • Manage the overall system operations: Identifies project requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing operations; determining project scope; documenting results. Verifies results by completing tests
  • Provide production support on the big data engineering system, including off-shift hours on a regular basis as needed: system monitoring, researching and resolving problems; maintaining system integrity and security, monitor automated data connectivity, providing report, metrics & dashboard, etc.
  • Manage and execute on-demand data services requested by customers and stakeholders, including airlines customers.
  • Act as consultant to internal and external customers on the use of the application and its operations.

Development – Knowledge & Skills Required; Experiences Preferred.

  • Design and implement automated data connectivity with internal and external customers using Java-based frameworks
  • Design HA & DR infrastructure, on premise and on cloud-Azure
