Project Manager

We are looking for a senior level Project Manager to oversee a number of our client’s capital projects, ranging from $2MM- $30MM/year.  The projects are related to the oil and gas industry, in particular pipeline integrity and compressor stations. The Project Manager will manage overall projects to meet cost, schedule, scope, safety, quality and risk objectives.

Duties Include:

  • Leading the project team and remain accountable for overall project results.
  • Communicate with project sponsor including requests for additional funding and/or In Service Date change.
  • Coordinate input to project reporting and fiscal forecasting.
  • Accountable for following stage gate process and project control plan to ensure deliverables are completed.
  • Lead project team meetings and communication.
  • Responsible to coordinate and communicate critical project milestones (i.e. ready to start construction, introduce product, notice of in service) and ensure assets are ready to operate (readiness reviews).
  • Identify project risks, exposures and opportunities that may impact the success of the subject projects. Develop and maintain the Project Risk Tracker for each assigned project.
  • Facilitate forums/ communication channels and the issuance of reports that reflect the status and health of the assigned projects to the appropriate Management groups.
  • Serve as the focal point for project and service activities performed by the Core Project Department and non-technical support groups for both internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for the development, negotiation, and approval of agreements (includes construction and ownership agreements, line relocation agreements, and reimbursement agreements,).

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 7+ years of diversified project experience in the energy industry
  • Professional Engineering registration and/or Project Management Professional certification will be considered a strong asset
  • Experience with gas transmission operations.
  • Basic understanding of pipeline commercial operations and of energy markets
  • Strong English communication skills – Written & verbal
  • Knowledge of FERC Regulated Projects

ERP Technical Analyst IV

We are looking for an ERP Technical Analyst on behalf of one of the largest natural gas distributors in North America.  They will work with the organization’s Work Management system (SAP PM) users and stakeholders to understand business requirements in order to provide technical & functional support, reporting, recommend system enhancements and provide strategy to implement processes across the organization.

 

Duties Include:

  • Work with various groups throughout the organization in order to sustain system functionality, business processes, and execution
  • Respond to “real time” field user requests; including new user set up, troubleshooting and assisting supervisors with work orders/changes
  • Ensure Master Data changes (additions, deletions, updates, etc.) are managed consistently across the organization and are compliant
  • Develop and/or enhance system reports.
  • Analyze/present system reports to determine corrective action.
  • Utilize system reports to support internal and external audits.
  • Deliver business solutions, identify critical path of completion, and identify/minimize organizational risk
  • Leads development and presentation of procedures and training for ERP related data and systems
  • Monitor work processes to ensure efficiencies, regulatory compliance, governance and process standardization across various departments
  • Conduct system testing to ensure proper performance/functionality and for system enhancements/upgrades.
  • Coordinate bug fixes with user community, Trusted Information Systems, and software vendors.
  • Support and/or present training to users on SAP PM/Maximo, Mobile Solution Software, and system changes/enhancements.

Skills Required:

  • 10+ years of Work Management/ERP Analyst experience, including some experience within the oil & gas industry
  • Expertise in Work Management system/user support
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite, SAP PM and internet)
  • Strong understanding of Gas Transmissions operations
  • Extraordinary analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Thinks innovatively and strategically. Communicates and influences effectively
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to manage diverse relationships at all levels of organization
  • Demonstrated expertise working with various databases, Work Management Solution and Mobile software.

Senior Application Developer

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer on behalf of one of the largest natural gas distributors in North America. They will be responsible for the design and execution of front-end and back-end development of applications. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and coordinating technology team in order to deliver complex IT services
  • Work with developers and engineers to ensure large-scale business impact to the digital products being built
  • Lead the design and implementation of the architecture of the application
  • Implement services and APIs to power the application and optimize the apps for maximum speed and scalability
  • Lead the integration of front-end and back-end aspects of the application

Required:

  • 8+ years of full stack engineering experience (e.g. UWS, .NET, MERN stack) with leadership experience

Gas Scheduler

We are looking for a Gas Scheduler to join our client’s team for a long term contract opportunity.  This person will be part of a small team, supporting nominations, scheduling, confirmations, allocations, curtailment, notices, OBAs, imbalances, capacity release, and storage injections and withdrawals.
The position requires working a shift schedule consisting of 7 12-hour day shifts followed by 7 days off.

Duties Include:

  • Working with  customers as they utilize contracted services from pipeline, storage and offshore facilities.
  • Analyze, prioritize and address transportation and related issues to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Work with customers on developing and implementing both transportation and storage utilization strategies.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

Senior Project Manager

On behalf of our a client, a leader in oil & gas transmission and distribution, we are looking for a Project Manager to join their team.  Based out of Houston, they will handle variety of pipeline related projects across the US.  They will support all phases of projects from inception through completion.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as the primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

Skills Required

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience, including project experience within Gas Transmission industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
  • Bachelor’s degree – engineering discipline or construction related
  • Cost forecasting experience

Duties Include:

  • Collect, blend, and transform data that meet functional, non-functional business requirements, using ETL tools, database management system tools, and code development
  • Implement data models and structures data in ready-for business consumption formats

Our Client is one of the world's largest multinational Water Process & Treatment service companies.

We currently have an available contract assignment for an Manufacturing/Engineering Support Specialist in Pasadena, Texas?

The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, general repairs, installing new equipment and systems and preventative maintenance program on all assigned machinery as directed by supervisor.

  • Performs preventative maintenance on plant facilities and equipment as well as Mobile/Service DI water treatment equipment.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance records for Mobile/Service DI equipment
  • Install new equipment or rearranges existing equipment
  • Performs building and ground maintenance
  • Practices good safety procedures in order to keep self and others injury free.  Follows EHS policies and procedures.
  • Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
  • Is available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running order
  • Perform confined space entry in small tanks with 14×18" manways
  • Travel for field repair and install if needed

Required Skills/Experience:

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of PVC plumbing or mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or training.
  • Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
  • Ability and willingness to work confined space entry
  • Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
  • Ability and willingness to read documents and implement such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to handle and lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability and willingness for on call status for emergency response
  • Ability and willingness to travel for install and repair if needed
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record history
  • Minimum At least 1 year of Electrical install, repair, and maintenance work experience to include electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experience
