Oracle Developer

In this role you will be responsible for providing technical development expertise by acting as developer through system implementation / upgrade projects. You will work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration /design, testing, cutover and support.  

Key Areas of Responsibility  

  • Participate and provide technical expertise during functional design session 
  • Provides assistance with estimation of time required for technical design and build 
  • Provides guidance and assist with documentation of technical design 
  • Provides walkthrough of technical design

Develops any of the following as required 

  • Enhancement 
  • Customization  
  • Bolt-ons 
  • Interfaces 
  • Reports 
  • Conduct Unit testing of the development 
  • Documents Migration procedure and assists with troubleshooting issues 
  • Provide knowledge transfer to peers / client counterparts 
  • Supports through Integration and Acceptance testing 
  • Advises on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems 
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner 
  • Report progress to teams and project managers 
  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions 
  • Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology 

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

5 + Years Experience working with PL / SQL

5 to 8 years of progressive experience as oracle EBS Developer, supporting, upgrading and implementing any of the following: 

  • GL / AP / AR/ CE 
  • PO/ PC / AM  

Minimum of 5 years Oracle EBS experience with a strong focus on any two of the tools specified below: 

  • Stored Procedure 
  • Concurrent Program 
  • BI Publisher 
  • FSB 

Must have 5+ years’ experience with following releases 

  • EBS 12.1  
  • Must have one or more EBS 12.2 Implementation or Upgrade project experience 
  • Upgrade and Implementation experience, with a minimum of 3-5 full life cycle implementations 
  • Good understanding of following development areas – Interfaces, Reports 

Preferred 

  • Bachelor’s  / Master’s Degree  
  • Minimum 5+ years of Total IT experience
