This is a functional PM Role that must have Pipeline Integrity experience! Project Manager serves as direct liaison with ongoing communication and support to functional Operations Business Leads and Sponsors to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned projects in Operations.
Assists the Business Leads/Sponsors with preparation of Project Charters, project schedules, monitoring scope, providing project coordination, management of change, risk management, lessons learned, as well as project and executive status reporting.
Acts as primary contact for project management related activities, determine, assign, track and manage project tasks, lead project kick off meetings, project review sessions, monitoring cost, schedule, and progress.
Works with the business in establishing project milestones and monitors adherence to master schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions for process optimization. Liaise with business functions to understand ongoing needs.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Partners with the Pipeline Integrity team for communications.
Partners with the TIS team to provide status reporting on project deliverable to the business.
Ensures Business Analyst deliverable are appropriate and completed timely.
Act as a cross functional Project Manager to support multiple areas of the business such as pipeline integrity, facility integrity, asset management, compliance, etc.
Criteria & Qualifications:
Project Management Professional certification, Six Sigma certification (preferred), related degree and/or a minimum of 10 years related experience within the oil and gas industry.
Complete understanding of project life cycle gating controls, document and records management.
Ability to support, adapt to change quickly, and move across various types of projects when needed.
Excellent writing skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and time management.
Adept at interacting in both business and IT focused discussions with a strong understanding of information technology and its application to solving business problems.
Ability to influence and negotiate with clients and vendors.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Project and Visio.
