Summary:
- To deliver and manage cyber security projects as part of our Security CoE. The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to lead a multi-year, multi-million dollar cyber security program that is focused on enhancing Canada Post’s cyber security resiliency and capabilities. Secondary responsibilities may include supporting smaller Security CoE cyber security related initiatives should there be periods of time where the larger program is quieter, and the Project Manager has available cycles to provide support, lead, or manage.
Duties:
- The primary duties of the Project Manager is for the day-to-day project management of one of our large scale, multi-year and multi-year cyber security programs that is being delivered in partnership with our approved selected vendors. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to,:
- Delivery of a large-scale cyber security program which includes planning, execution, implementation, and close out activities;
- Management of financial budgets;
- Management of resource plans;
- Management of project schedules;
- Stakeholder collaboration which includes, but is not limited to, our delivery partners and external vendors, and internal Stakeholders;
- Developing and presenting status reports;
- Management and oversight on dependencies;
- Supporting our project delivery team members;
- Other day-to-day project management activities;
- Assistance with developing project business cases;
- Secondary responsibilities of the Project Manager would be effective should the program have quiet periods. In this case, during quiet periods, the Project Manager may be temporarily re-assigned to support the delivery of other cyber security initiatives if they have the capacity to do so.
Must Have:
- Minimum of 8 years of IT Project Management experience,
- PMP or PRINCE2 certified,
- Very good experience with schedule, financial, and resource management,
- Knowledgeable of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies – don’t need to have experience with both
- Good communication skills.

- Experience with Cyber Security related initiatives
