We have an immediate opening for an “Talent Acquisition Specialist” role for a 06 months contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing the Workforce Plan, recruitment strategies and full lifecycle recruitment process to hire top talent for the organization. The specialist will assist with the development and implementation of strategic workforce plans to meet the staffing requirements of the business functions via internal and external applicants.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; preferably an advanced degree and/or study in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology recruiting experience required
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of IT related positions of all experience levels ( Cyber Security, software engineers, developers, program and product managers, IT Analysts, Architects, etc. )
  • Advanced proficiency in Success Factors or similar ATS preferred
  • Must be organized and have a sense of urgency and have the ability to prioritize their time
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization and with external clients
  • Ability and willingness to learn the various businesses and incorporate that understanding into the development of effective sourcing strategies
  • Energetic and enthusiastic ambassador of the National Grid brand
  • Strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Tenacious and driven to succeed
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, follow through and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, think strategically and identify creative solutions
  • Ability to multi-task; be flexible and manage changing priorities effectively
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, OFCCP, Federal, State and Local laws and regulations

Capability Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt approach and consider what is important to the audience by tailoring message accordingly in order to source talent and promote the National Grid brand
  • Is receptive to change and is willing to change ideas or opinions based on new information.
