There are two roles that are essential to a successful contact tracing operation: Case Manager and Contact Tracer. The Case Manager contacts individuals who test positive for COVID-19 to investigate the case, and identify contacts that may have been exposed to the virus. These contacts are then allocated to a team of Contact Tracers to ensure that all contacts understand the necessary testing and isolation protocols.
Case Managers
Case Managers require experience in any regulated health or counselling profession and/or knowledge of communicable diseases, infection prevention, and control practices.
