The 2020 Ian Martin Group Volunteer Program has been suspended, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. We will be getting this program up and running, as soon as the time is right. Please continue to check back for updates. We will be welcoming more applications soon.
Do you dream of using your technical skills, education, and expertise to break down barriers and help others? Maybe your passion is installing safe water infrastructure, promoting local sustainable agriculture, or getting IT infrastructure set up for a global non-profit?
Whatever your dreams are, we’re offering you a once in a lifetime chance to help make the world a better place through further opportunities for meaningful work!
The Ian Martin Group Volunteer Program was created to allow contractors to pursue meaningful work either locally or abroad. The selected winner of the program will receive up to $10,000 to fund their experience. Depending on your availability, the experience could last from one week to one month. The funds will be used to cover all costs associated with the trip – such as travel, accommodation, and permit costs, etc.
On the application, we have suggested a few possible organizations that offer inspiring volunteer opportunities, but if you are already familiar with a registered charity that you would like to support, you can specify them on your application. Please note that your experience must be with a registered Canadian charitable organization.
Every little act creates an impact – together, let’s work to transform the world for the better, one meaningful work experience at a time.
